Topping Auto LED Adventure

Fingers and toes crossed it stays that way:)

I know the feeling! I use soil cos I can just "add water" for the most part*, and so far, so good..
Fingers, toes and 2 other things crossed...

*Just referred to this at Grizzs place.

You are right in saying that.My choices with hydro here are very slim but being a farm rich area, there are loads of organic so to choose from but it's something I've never really tried
* From Grizzs

You should give it a crack. 1 plant.. Easier than you think. At first; similar to hydro cos your thinking amounts. Spoons of this, cups of that... But there's a lot of room for error. A LOT more than hydro..
I am NO expert but there are plenty on 420mag to learn from; pick out 5-10 easiest-to-get ingredients or make your own. Bit of a time investment for say compost but grass-clippings and brown leaves are easy enough to get.. Worm farms are simple and you just throw your kitchen scraps in there..
More complicated at first to get running (as opposed to goin down the hydro shop and buying stuff) but easier later. And mostly free later as well. I pay for good coco: Nutrifield - Australia's leading manufacturer of superior hydroponic solutions $14 for 55 litres (hydro shop!) and I'm buying EWC (gotta build my worm farm!!); I buy Powerfeed and Gogo Juice and eco-Seaweed and stuff like that.. Lasts for ages.
And I basically just add water..... Mostly..!

No doubt about it that your pheno of GSC is different than the one I've got going, but it's interesting to see that every single GSC journal or picture I have looked at during growth, has that same "Heat stress" look to the teeth of the leaves.

Yea mate, they don't even look the same strain when you compare them.Ive seen so many different grows with the fast buds GSC auto on the web and so many different looking plants.I think my heat stress look may be light stress, after I changed my bulb that standing up teeth look spread over the whole plant but temps were only 24-25dedC in there.

Mine has done it the entire grow, even with normal temps. Yours is looking great man!

Yea it's been the same with mine as well.I gotta get my ph up to 6 again in the terra so it takes up more magnesium and hoping this new bloom feed I've started is better for salt build up as Flores seems to really stick and doesn't want to wash out,Time will tell:)

Hood is sealed water right now so no more telling smells:)
I've had to raise the light again today with GSC hell bent on reaching it,gotta be every bit of 4ft with the pot and still getting taller.NL got a flush today with EC.8 vega with usual additives ph'ed to 6.4,EC run off was still a bit high at 2 and ph of 5.9 so should be right by next water but still no signs of sex.If all 3 turn out to be big,I'll be stuffed but so far THC looks like it might be my usual 1.5-2footer but also might be getting ready for a burst.Im thinking about cutting some lower growth of GSC as soon as the stretch stops, there's a bit down there that will never get the light they need to do anything.Thats it till something happens.Cheers

I've been trying to upload some pics today to show how everything is looking but having trouble with it for some reason. It looks as though GSC has finally finished her stretch so cut around 10 very bottom branches off.She has a straight water yesterday with run off EC 1.8 ph:5.9
THC is getting nice and getting ready to be topped in a couple more days
NL is still showing that's she is nute rich but going along alright and will show sex in the next couple days by the looks.
Here is the only pic I managed to get uploaded

Cheers

I've seen a lot saying they can't upload photos. Canna started a thread about it.. Nl is looking good mate...

Cheers grizz, today the first I've had troubles and Havnt gotten any email notifications today also so will see if it fixes itself by tomorrow

I'm in same boat... Just server issues I guess..

Will put up some pics a bit later if I get a chance but Thaught I'd let you no what I've messed up this time.
I noticed GSC has slight curl to her fans which to me says low ph since there's no way it's nitrogen rich so I tested my new pen with 4ph solution and it was reading 4.5 so for the last couple waters they all have been getting 5.6ph feeds instead of 6.1-2
NL is showing the most not liking it with also being a little nute rich but THC doesn't look like it's fazed her at all.Not sure weather to flush all with 6.1-2 or just start their normal feed/waters at the correct ph

I did calabrate my new pen before I used it but must have missed a step while doing it but really hoping 1 week hasn't stuffed the whole grow

5.6 is not too far off mate, id just keep going with what you are doing but at the right PH, wont take long for it to come back ;) one week shouldnt have too much effect on them, my last girl im currently harvesting had her over fert problem early in flower also and bounced back to produce a decent yield, just lucky you noticed it when you did before it became a problem :thumb:

Cheers mate,I've had to deal with me stuffing up by over ferting them which drops out the ph but this is the first for me giving them the low ph so wasn't sure:) my flower nutes I'm using call on raising by .1 pretty near first week of flower and by flush it's 6.6 I think.Never had to do that before but will try and stick to it.
