Tomula's Living Organics In Soil With Olla Irrigation Perpetual Indoor Garden

Hello guys, thank you for your interest! I'm super busy right now. New update with pics long overdue coming this week. Be patient we got work to do to continue this voyage for the next years to come.

I got nothing more for now, so see ya later this week!

Ok so I can give you smoke report on the latest Herer and what it smells like after proper cure we gave him. It's absolutely magnificent I love the coffee-mint smell with mint-lemony taste and long lasting effect that makes my mind move. I just love it, goes nicely with the Shark. Just pure energy drink for my lungs.

Cheers!

Looking forward to those pics and that smoke report sounds awesome!

Hello dear friends from the forums. I now got myself decent job, I like it there- I work as a gardener. But it takes up all day and I'm happily tired after these long days. The rest of my time is family, friends and myself. Heck, I lost my wallet and some amazing human being brought it to police, that's one evening well spent looking for it everywhere :)
The power source is payed. They will send me one as soon as it arrives in their warehouse. The girl has been moved so we can proceed with the building. I got many photos overdue and I will put them as they go. She reacted nicely to the nettle tea, it bubbled up really well with the dates I fed it. I got an idea for new brewer- I wanna make it like a fountain. I'm gonna get me some nice equipment for the summer, new pumps, fans, intake filters, timers, outtake filters (I will be making some new), veg tent and I'm still thinking about going vertical with the COBs. The hangers are awesome just hang and adjust- very handy.

The Shark photo time: Looking fine, she has like a month to go. I want all milky on her, no amber.

This is the triple lights:

And her story for the past three weeks:

These two would make for nice 3D shot:

I'm off to bed and I WILL REPLY to each and every one of you I did not replied, sorry I just got no time for Internet these days.

Hey T congratulations on your job! Working out in a garden sounds great!

Plants are looking excellent!!

I just got 8 vero29 3500k in! Kinda wish i went 3000k, ohwell. Have to buy two drivers but ill start putting it together as soon as i get some aluminum angle.

Im definitely going to add t5 uvb but have you looked into far red and the Emerson effect? Saw growmou5 going over it a little. The chips were not that badly priced and you only need a few

Finally, some time to get things sorted. So basically right now I got too much stuff to do, besides my job that is keeping me occupied 10+ hours a day. To be honest I need more freedom in my life so that's why I spent the rest of the days mostly outside. Hopefully I'm gonna get a car next month or so, which will greatly improve my time spent traveling via public transport and give me opportunities to make some real gardening money. I work with ppl that cut grass, bushes and trees, so basically I'm hairdresser. I also need to go shopping big, for the light and many many many other things, but I got my first salary but after paying bills, rent and tips I got little to spare. Fortunately that's not gonna last long. Still not how I imagined but getting there :) I thank you all for the support, I'm just too tired sometimes.

Why not T ?? I just spent 3 hours today sifting compost made last year. The dredges I threw in the Bamboo garden. Keeps them happy.

Compost is my thing, it's the main thing for me. The rest follows, including cannabis or any other plant/flower/tree.

"Get your compost dialed in and the rest will follow." that Coots feller. I live by this. :Namaste:

I grow my cuttings (not just cannabis) in an aero bucket. When we do this, we understand how vitally important root growth and health is.

I run plain RO water in my aero cloner ... roots will be 10X the size of the plant at transplant. Food for thought.

Sounds great man. I was speaking about starting the compost cycle again, but not living to see the mighty forests from the past. Not saying that I'll miss it all. I won't for sure. I somehow enjoy the seeds more than cuttings :) Surprised every time. Love ya man have fun!

Ultimately I wanna get the far red to shine for the last hours and then just the reds for sleeping time. I will be getting my planks for the light soon too!

Looking awesome as usual T, enjoy the fruits of your labor. ✌️

Thank you penny, always here with cheer! Cheers!

Awesome update T, great pictures. Congrats on the job and enjoying what you do.....makes work not seem so much like work when you enjoy what you do.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving these words here. Appreciated.

Looks great man. Awesome bubbler i need a new one for my vaporite cosmic but with the new plenty I probably wont be using it much.

Hello, Amard! The vape from the vape and bubbler is super smooth and I can hold it for a minute and just let the clean air out my lungs :D Invisible hits! Haha, enjoy the plenty, what a vape.

Congrats on the job. Looks like you got the experience for it. Girls are looking very happy. And I wish someone wood've gave my wallet back. Had my SS number in it on a insurance card in it. But someone stold mine. Congrats again.
You find a job you like,, and you'll never go to work again.. Cool Keepem Green

Hello, people. So basically the grow is over. My part in it has gone to level of once a month. I gotta take a longer brake, this time telling you all about it, I'm moving this thread to completed. I might report stuff that I caught, that made me think about new stuff putting together the best from aero, hydro and organic soil farming into one solution. I'm thinking about how to do it space efficient too. I will be back when the time is right with new things arranged. I'm learning some general gardening practices I come by, finding some of them very unsophisticated and illogical, sometimes straight destructive at times. That's now, but each day you take chances of running into interesting stuff. I like it, but I need to slow down through the hot summer days.
The Shark made it through, but the harvest was feeble. More factors played a role in that. The olla is great for taking the roots where you want, but when they are there, just water the pot regularly from the top, or some plate or bowl. Plus the stress she got all alone and the environment was all mess. That's that I thank you all for stopping by, see you later!

Hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for sharing this grow with us.

Please head over to the 420 Strain Reviews forum and post your smoke report there too.

I’m moving this to Completed Journals now.

Have you started a new grow you would like to share with us?

If so, please feel free to start a new journal here: Journals in Progress

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.

:Namaste:

Hello, long time no see. Some news here: I got the 600W light together, but unfortunately I lost most of the pictures (Bummer). The good news is that it's up and running, pretty far from where I live and I dunno where  But my friend said he is gonna flip his 15 NL cuttings under it this week(end). I hope he likes it, so he will buy in and I will make me Mk.II. I will be using different approach with 9-12 chips for 4x4ft space, scaling up to my new box that's gonna be around 5x5 or more. I'm still playing with the looks and functions. Also my second friend with that old Mars and HPS of mine is doing his own show. I also got me some other toy :)

Here is what's left of the pics:

Here is an upclose of my mounting solution. I've used Arctic mx4 thermal paste. I will be going for holders and reflectors next time for sure:

Here are all 6 COBs hanging together:

IMG_20170813_141550.jpg

This is my shitty aluminium frame that I made for it (works though :D). Note that I hung the cobs from the top, as opposite to this image and the fans are hanging next to the lights on the frame. So you can move the light around as you want. The frame is 3x3 approx. The fans are not there but I've used the same Arctic 120 PWM CO with double bearings that are running 3 years straight as outtake fans in the old box. The light is dimmable from 60-600W. Right now it's a big mystery of how it will perform, but I got a good feeling about this.

And this is my newest toy I absolutely adore:

So that's that, I'll be moving from my hometown soon, hopefully. I wish you all luck and happy growing! :Namaste:

Thanks for the shout out and support Tomula. You built your own LED's?? Impressive. Im wondering how that pretty bud smoked?? I will sub your next grow. I will fit you in. You might have me journal my Feb tent run. Have a safe winter. 4D

Hey there T .. this means you're back and growing right! :thumb:

Love that new lamp. Going all COBs like those upped my game a good bit.

Don't be a shy, hang out with us some more!

Cheers

Hello bob, I'm gonna be hanging around some more, gotta say I do not really grow, but my light is up and running somewhere. When I got my VPN and stuff sorted I'm gonna try to post some pictures. When I will be building my Mk. II I'm gonna make sure to save all the pictures in two places in order to make an informative photo tutorial. I need to sort the environmental challenges the lights are encountering in the next version. I saw some nice fixtures at the Cannafest this year. I'm still learning and I love it. Thank you for stopping by! :circle-of-love:
