To early to flower?

Are you flowering yet? If you don't want huge plants you should definitely flower now. They are already going to get pretty big. Remember they at least double in size during flowering.

He's only grown those plants for a month I'm not saying he can't flower now but I was just considering the potential of those plants and that he hasn't seperated the males it can go longer but it will be tight tying them down might be nessecary but if he ties now, tops, and gives two more weeks then does a scrog grow he's going to have ALOTTA bud

WAYYYY too late to scrog dude... you have to start training early for that... when I used to scrog I'd keep the plants no more than 6" tall... for like... 1 and a half month... then for the last 2 weeks of veg I'd put the screen on and use the screen to train... scrog wouldn't work well for a plant that size...

also, it's pretty much pointless to top now, the plants are so tall... but if he just LST'd the girls, he could have plenty of growth spots, and the plant would grow horizontally, with the BRANCHES growing vertically, pretty much becoming tops... he'll get less bud if he tries scrog at this point... none of the lower branches would be of use... I'd just tie, let veg for another 2 weeks so the branches get stronger and thicker, then flower...

Well they are tall, but that is a good reason to top. It will slow it down from going up and allow it to bush out which is always good. But whatever you do id do it soon.

im new to this but whats scrog? i'v done put them in flowering but i took my 1 female to veggie some mor.. i dont know if i did this right but cut some clones and put some rootone on the end and put them in dirt i hope i did'nt fuck them up.. i look at them today and they hav'nt change color...

You say you took clones. Did you cut off fan leaves? If so that doesn't work. And Scrog is Screen of green . This is an example

But it is to late for that method. You will be fine with what your doing now .The only thing i could say to do since you are in you first week of flowering is topping. Its not good but still a option.

what do think will happen if i top the plants now? i really don't know that much on toping? will it hurt my yeild or the plant wont grow right?

If you top now might shock it a little. But since it is the first week it should continue on normal and not affect it.

Yeah cut at a 45 degree angle on the main stem at the newest growth.

it's probably too late but just in case you haven't yet, a simple pinch at the top of the plant will split the plant in more than one way if you do it right you could even get 4 tops from one pinch and it's probably a lot less of a shock to the plants

when i water my plants now in them bigger buckets do i water intill i see it running out the bottom? i don't want to over water them..

Well with proper drainage they shouldn't get over water. Only water when the soil starts to crack, and just gradually add some .But no u knew how to water the last ones i think you will be just fine.

What Crack and Teg are talking about is the FIM technique.If you push the leaves away from the top of the plant you will see a leaf bud(not a flower bud but a leaf bud). By cutting off 3/4 of the leaf bud,You will get 2 or more colas.The most you can get with this technique is 8 colas.
FIM means Fuck I Missed.
When you top off,you are trying to prune the plant the plant.You do a 45 degree cut just above the branch formation.The main stem splits and you have a V shape at the top of the plant two or more colas.
A word of warnig though, some strains don't due well when you top off and some strains can only achieve max bud by topping off.This is one of the reasons I share info with people because I only know so many strains.
Another method is called Super Cropping.By taking a branch between your fingers and gently applying pressure you crush the branch causing it to develop multiple branches.Super cropping is more for the scrog method because of how well it works but will cause you to have at least 4 extra weeks of veg.Super cropping is normally done on the second or third week of veg.
In the case of these plants you have a choice.Lop off the top or tie them down.

thank good info urdedpal.. well my plants have been in flowering since 1-25 and so far i found a female (yes) i found 2 of them with little balls on them.. does them balls mean male or is it early to tell? i'll try to get some pics for u all and u tell me..
