I've never had AK-48 before so this one will be new to me, but I trust you that it will be awesome!
 
I'm sure you just had some Killer males.
Alot of people test there males for breeding by smoking them. To see if there was any high at all.
I'm sure your low tolerance has something to do with it.
But males carry more thc in there leaves then females.

I, am not ashamed to say that I keep my leaf and male plants for times like THESE. I roll big fat j's or blunts and smoke it to the head, gets me buzzed 4 sure. But you need to smoke a bunch. :smokin2:

Thanks bro and a Merry Christmas to you also! Yeah that lemon skunk has gotten to big I have to make a new light fixture and lucky for me the piece I need to make it just arrived today! The lemon skunk is 2x bigger then the light fixture and is outgrowing the closet fast! Guess I shouldn't complain about that though haha

Thank you! Its always great to here that, check out the first few pages of this post and you can see its a miracle she has got this far haha. Also the genetics are by DNA
 
Ok so I just want to make a note of something. Due to having very limited space and my lemon skunk growing so rapidly. I have been forced to LST her every other day, I'm not sure if this will cause issues while in flowering or not by taking the main top buds away from the light every so often. However I wanted to let you all know that by LSTing every other day the inner buds have been exposed to a ton of light. And no kidding they are almost the same size now as the top buds. I've noticed even more buds forming now because the bottom branches that never made it out of the jungle of a plant have now got a ton of light making them bigger making more buds! Not sure if so much LSTing is bad or not, but wow have I seen an exploding in buds!

Also the AK-48 is still only showing white hairs at the top node. Is that normal for the other nodes to have no white hairs at the moment do they just need time to catch up to the top node?

Yep! I'll post them tomorrow, I guess its a good thing I mean now the buds that normally wouldn't get any light are getting plenty and are growing nice and big

Also I plan on chopping down the rocklock soon and from what I read there is a good amount of THC in the leaves so I am going to dry them out grind them up and make me some butter!

Hey everyone hope you had a great christmas or holiday haha. Mine was great I got a 42" Plasma lol so that was cool. Anyway in all my holiday excitement when I went to make a new thing of nut water I accidentally doubled the does instead of doing a normal amount...Well i'll post some pictures but its not looking good : ( the Lemon skunk looks the worst. Its not to noticeable until you look through all the bushiness. All of the lemon skunks bottom leaves are yellow and brown and most are already dead! I am flushing her with regular PH balanced water hoping to rid the nut burn problem. Also the rocklock has the same issue...but I don't give a shit about that plant anyway. Anyway some good news is the AK-48 and Bag seed didn't get any nuts and they both look great! The top node of the AK-48 has white hairs everywhere but still all the other nodes are showing no white hairs...also at what point can a male pollinate another plant? do the sacks have to be open before it can do anything?
 
Take no chances on that RockLock ... those flowers will pop at any moment and then it will be too late for the others. And also it is normal for the bottom leaves that receive almost no light to yellow and die off. Just keep an eye on your healthy fan leaves, if the tips start to yellow then you will know it has some burn. As long as it is just the tips though and doesn't spread, then she will probably be just fine.

Thanks for the info Smokey! Hope you had a great Christmas also, I just read my post I didn't realize i wrote nut instead of "nute" lol ops. Yes I'm getting rid of the rocklock tomorrow I can't risk it and I can't wait any longer for a new light fixture. So I'll be left with the lemon skunk and AK-48. Also the leaves are just at the bottom but I counted 10 dieing leaves. Is that normal still? Im sure my plant would pull through either way but the less mistakes at this point the better! Take it easy bro!
 
Nice whiskers, big oops on the OD Nutes...you doing a flush is all it needs, no real nutes for a few days, only ph'd water and maybe some Micro nutes if you have any. Give them a small shot of Molasses if you like, I use 1 tbs per gallon.

The RL should be kept away or you may have some seeds coming, it only takes a small flower to open on the male!

Hope you're enjoying your 48" Plasma, I'm looking online for a camera...my wife would like me to get her one since some ass lost ours...lol

Yeah I am flushing her as we speak. I'm not gonna give her nuts for at least a week now. I still have to get molasses not sure where I can find it, is it in grocery stores or something? And can you use it every time you feed your plants? Also yes I am enjoying the plasma very much haha. Haha sucks you lost the camera. what kind are you looking for? something to just take pictures or a more high end SLR?

Ok so I also just cut down half of the rocklock plant. I have the leaves hanging to dry, I hope the pollen sacks don't open because the leaves are drying in the same room as the other plants I have no where else for them to go. I learned that the next time I get a male. I am killing him right away! Also I know it may sound strange to be harvesting a male plant. But as soon as the leaves dry I am grinding them up and making butter! So this way the plant isn't a total waste.

The other half of the rocklock is still alive, and I do hope to get my light fixture up and running in a day or two this way I can move him to another room and get the pollen from him. Then I will dry the rest of the leaves on him. Has anyone here tried using just leaves for making butter?
 
Also just wondering, but when I dry the leaves and also this goes for the buds. About how long can either the leaves or bud last if I'm keeping it in an air tight jar.

Was also wondering if anyone knows how to prevent being paranoid while high. I use to be able to handle it fine, but I only use it when I get sick so its only 2 times a week, I went from having a happy relaxing high and know I'm paranoid as hell every time I use there is know moor happy high. I feel like I'm gonna die haha seriously my heart pounds I sweat its very unpleasant. Maybe some of you had this happen and found a way to fix it. Anyway haha it would be cool to get some feedback on this all. Thanks guys!

I use "Grandma's Molasses Unsulphured Original" from the Grocery store.


And can you use it every time you feed your plants?

I've read that using too much can build up around the roots and lock out important nutes. Not sure if using it through the whole grow is bad, but usually I use it for the flower period and only during the last 2or 3 weeks, every other feeding @ 1 tbs/gallon.

I would advice putting the male parts in a paper bag to dry, so no possible pollen sacks open.

After the buds are dry enough to jar and cure, you can keep them for as long as you like. Just keep them in a dark and cool spot or a dark container in a cool spot. Just remember to burp the jar everyday for a couple weeks and then you can burp them like every month after...I think. :tokin:

Paranoia can be triggered by the early cut buds that have mostly cloudy trichomes, so try to get bud that has gotten to mostly amber, and Indicas are less likely to give that "speed" high. Also low doses, don't smoke a whole J to the head, take low dosages so you don't get that high, just get medicated. I would also get mentally ready for the ride, put on some nice low lights on and some Bob Marley.

Sounds like an anxiety attack. They can be aweful.... Some bud can make you more anxious. What strain are you smoking right now? Have your blood pressure checked.

WARNING: I would not hang that rocklock up to dry anywhere near your ladies, they can still pop open and pollinate!!!!
