picture's look good, still needs more time, the last couple of weeks the plants explode

the leaves twisting concern me,some

yeah I was wondering about that. not all are twisting only a few. the same thing is happening on the larger plant. im thinking it might be to much nitrogen. as I was still feeding half a teaspoon of fox farm big grow. the leaves seem dark to me also. when I fed today, I left out the big grow. my mother just completed one week in flower. I skipped the big grow with her. her leaves are more lime colored. i'll see if that helps.

hmmmmm ok I have a question guys.

looks like they sent me an auto seed for free.
right now my veg room is set to a 13 hour Gas Lamp Routine.
will this mess with the auto?

I think I may grow this in coco. I have been growing a few vegetables in coco and they are very healthy.

ppfffftt
ok I just researched this strain on the interweb and it says to start it in 12/12.
so it looks like im all set to grow an auto.

when the day come that I order seeds, will be like first grow excitements, all over again, I can't wait.

check out the auto grows, I've never had one, but I think that's their thing-they will grow under almost any circumstance.

im in the states and was alittle paranoid. but then I said fuck it. I want a good strain.
ill probably wait to start any of them. I already got like 8 plants lol. I haven't smoked thai since the early 80's. it will be a very special thing for me to share with my friends.

I would recommend Bonza. they had very good stealth.

Musshy,

Love the photo above of the small one's bud site. Is the reddish/purplish color due to lighting/camera or is the plant really that color?

Your cat does sound like a really friendly sort. I confess I'm more of a dog guy, but my wife is referred to around our house (most reverently I might add) as The Cat Whisperer. I swear she can have the most skittish, shy cat in her lap eating out of her hand within a very short time. We even adopted a feral cat one time that she coaxed out of an out building at a place she briefly worked (plant nursery). We've always had at least one cat in our home since we've been married and I think I'm finally coming around to appreciate how unique and full of personality cats can be. I think I'll always enjoy a dog more, but I've developed beyond a state of "mutual ambivalence" with our orange tabby.

No experience with Auto's but I'm aware of a few growers on the site that are exploring auto's extensively. I believe the prevailing thought of the moment is that auto's will flourish best under a light schedule closer to 20/4 or 18/6 than anything else. Since I prefer photo period plants, I've only glanced at these journals (more due to the reputation of the growers than anything) so I may mistaken in my memory of what their experimentation has taught them. You might try the search feature and glance through a couple journals with the words "Auto" in them.

Be well and happy growing friend. Thanks for sharing your girls and your cat with us all!

I'm getting to the eff it point,

10 harvests deep and 75 plants in, id like to hone my skills a little more, before scoring really good seeds.it pains me to kill a bagseed,i could be a grouchy prick if I killed a good strain
I say that, but am also planning a trip into Denver at the end of the month, hope they sell seeds to general public

TanR, I too am a dog person, but I have no yard atm and I feel that a dog needs to run. so I cant get a dog until I upgrade my house.
cats are very independent. cats don't have owners, they have slaves. you give a dog some food and the dog thinks "wow, you must be a god!". you give a cat some food and the cat thinks "wow, I must be a god!".

yes, I will definetly do research on auto flowers here. this site is a very cool thing to have access to. the people, the information, it has all been a wonderful experience.

I forgot to explain the color. I wish it had pink and red!
I took the picture right outside the led lights....so that is just alittle led washing in.

ok now you've intimidated me a tad. all the experience and you still want more before another strain. maybe i'll put my good stuff on hold for a bit. that doesn't seem like a bad idea. the bagseed I have is good pot and the seeds were free.

yes, my next vacation destination is NOT Amsterdam. it will be Denver hahahahaha. I have already discussed this with my wife.

thing with the bagseed?? if it was good before,as you get better, IT will get better
I have 1 going now that is a 4th gen,and the 3rd was killer I expect this one to be better, because my skill is a little better

I'm also in the states, I haven't ordered seeds yet-risk, paranoia whatever, still has a hold on me

c526, do you have any grow journals? if you do, could you link it for me? I would love to see your work.

my wife was more paranoid than me lol. she will be relieved it is here. she has been asking me everyday....did it come yet?
the way they shipped mine was very smart and CLEVER. im not gonna say how they did it. lets just say it was clever.

when I told my wife I was gonna grow, the only thing she said was " can you grow me some vegetables?". I knew she was a keeper!!
anyways her vegetables aren't easy like tomatos. she wanted Japanese egg plant and a gourd called, bitter melon. I found the seeds online and bought them. I figured since I have all the nutes, i'll grow them in coco. it took 19 days for the bitter melon to sprout. that plant is out of control. if anyone is looking for a plant that will provide shade for a house, this vine will do it. it is very aggressive. it has wrangled the Japanese plant hahaha. I had to cut it off of it. it was like homer simpson choking bart. it is flowering like crazy and it has about 15 fruits growing off it. I am very proud of it.

The eggplant, which is also flowering like crazy, but showing no fruit yet. I have used a paint brush and tried to paint pollen on the flowers. I figure it is still to young. these plants are very healthy. I am very proud of these also.

so my connection calls me last night and she was excited. she says " you should really come see me."
so I go see her today and she has gotten her hands on a name brand strain. Blue Dream. we never get name brand stuff.

its always a treat to get something good

whats the going price for your area?
you guys get brickweed/swag??

this set me back $320 an oz. but its worth it. im in the north east. we usually get nice quality stuff from Canada.
I typically spend $220 an oz. my bagseed grow is from random seeds collected from the Canadian stuff over the last few years.
i haven't seen brickweed since i lived in san diego in the 90's.
