Mmmm it's starting! They are starting to smell a bit sweet
a $300 grow book?Yeah! I've seen that swazzing technique and the folks over at threealight practice the same thing. Their goal is 3lbs per light!
I may give it a try in my next run. So some side by side. I personally like trying things even though it may go against the norm. Just to get my own experience and opinions. I also mess up a lot along the way.
I was once out strolling one very hot summer's dayDAY 11 FLOWER
the girls have really stretched the past two days and Ive had to raise the light. The back right GSC seems to be stretching the most and is 3" above the canopy. I'll have to add more lifters to her sister soon, but may wait for stretch to end.
Buds are really starting to form too and good lift on the leaves.
Old enough to remember that song? It was so weird first time I heard it on the radio!I was once out strolling one very hot summer's day
When I thought I'd lay myself down to rest
In a big field of tall grass
I laid there in the sun and felt it caressing my face
As I fell asleep and dreamed
Looking friggin amazing .. now the fun really starts and your gonna start stacking up nicely.FLOWER DAY 16
today was watering day and the girls are doing well. They are really bushy and will get another defoliation on Sunday, not too much, but enough to fully expose bud sites and improve airflow. I have found some more dead leaves, more than I think should be dying, more on that below.
Here are the leaves that fell off on their own, total between all four plants and about equal. I did add the normal 2/3 cup BLOOM and on two added 1/4cup VEG last feeding to try and give them more N. I may up that to a 1/3cup VEG plus the standard 2/3cup BLOOM on all of them, so feeding more GF and at 12 day intervals. I'm not sure I like this many lower fans dying already.
Godfather OG on left and GSC on right
Out of the tent cameos for the front two plants, Godfather on left and GSC on right

For some odd reason, my humidity has been higher this grow, perhaps since the plants are so healthy. The room dehumidifier is on all the time whereas the other grows I didn't use it except on watering day. I have now added a small dehumidifier inside the tent and it's helping
Thanks Happy! Knock on wood I avoid my mid-flower issues that always seem to hit me haLooking friggin amazing .. now the fun really starts and your gonna start stacking up nicely.
Plants are looking great tim keep up the good work.
Did you switch to geoflora this grow? Thanks Happy! Knock on wood I avoid my mid-flower issues that always seem to hit me ha
Yes, I'm running Geoflora for the first time. So far I'm really liking it. I'm partially colorblind and using MC was a challenge as I couldn't read the leaves quick enough and seemed to always be running behind and having deficiencies. The GF has been great for that!! I've heard some get N decificiency in flower with GF, hence why I'm still adding some VEG to two of them.Did you switch to geoflora this grow?
I use only the gf veg/bloom it's great never an issue ...I'm glad it's treating you well.Yes, I'm running Geoflora for the first time. So far I'm really liking it. Two of the plants, front left and back right, I'm adding terpinator and massive as it's now part of GF "advanced feeding schedule" on their website. I'm doing a test to see which way works best for me....straight GF or their advanced feeding chartI use only the gf veg/bloom it's great never an issue ...I'm glad it's treating you well.
Two thoughts: first is don't pull off leaves until they're ready to come off on their own, and that's not a lot of leaves to me. Also (oh...a third thought), given the density of the canopy those leaves don't get much light so the plant will drop those naturally.I'm not sure I like this many lower fans dying already.
Oh good, I feel better now, thanks! I didn't pull any of them off, they either came off naturally or got knocked off when watering. They're looking happy AF in there!

Hahahaha swazzing! And that kid claims he invented the word .a $300 grow book?
I recommend you take the weak branches but leave the fans everywhere. The plant will use them for any mobile nutes it might need later in flower.Sunday I do the week 3 flower defoliation, that canopu is certainly dense!!
Do you see any problems taking off any leaves covering bud sites?I recommend you take the weak branches but leave the fans everywhere. The plant will use them for any mobile nutes it might need later in flower.
