Timhomegrow Godfather OG & Girl Scout Cookie In Soil

:ciao::high-five:
Thanks for the tag Tim! Loving everything about this grow already.
DAY 39 VEG

the girls had some trimming and training, all 14-16" tall so the flip will happen in a few days.

I opened up the plants and removes some upper leaves, but left some lower leaves that aren't blocking anything. The airflow should help with the gnats as well as fully drying the soil. I also removed the lower and interior growth and future bud sites.....no larf is the goal. I think I could have done more, maybe I will.
No larf club! I think I still have a few big ass jars of larf from my GSC grow last year! Haaa what a pain in the ass to trim. Never again! Oil infusions or rosin for all of it very soon.

I'm particularly fond of the flip-flop tan lines!
:circle-of-love:
I've got the same tan lines homie! Haaa haaa.

I'm hesitant reducing the amount of Geoflora as theynonly get fed every 14 days.
Don't ever underuse your GF. Feed the soil every 2 weeks as advised. If anything, you can add more. I have gone up as much as 50% more on a couple plants that are known heavy feeders.
I will be switching to their Bloom formula in two days when flipping the light schedule a d their Bloom has less nitrogen, so maybe it will correct itself.
I think what you were seeing a potassium deficiency. Not positive. I suck at diagnosis.
I'm still trying to get the gnats under control again. Watered with some mosquito dunk water and some SNS water. Also have mosquito bits on the soil surface and some diamaceous earth. I will win this war
I have had gnats off an on a few times in my current grow. I hate them. When my SNS209 treatments kick in, they are gone. I introduced them again when I topdressed with some worm castings I had outside.
Is there a dipshit emoji option on this site yet?! Because that would be me in just about every response here!
I have topdressed with mosquito bits and that works too. But soaking and drenching the bits is definitely better.
Disclaimer: im still a novice so in no way is this reflective of the nutes as user error will be rampant during this grow haha
Same here Tim! Glad I found your journal.

Thanks @BakedARea and welcome!!! I hate larf, still have two plants from the last harvest that were larfy and foxtailed.. not worth smoking. I seem to grow more than I can consume so I can be choosy with what I smoke and what I toss ha

I thought the one had potassium deficiencies as well, and I did add 5m of terp and it seemed to improve, so she is getting the terp/massive mix for the rest of the grow :)

I have flop marks all year long from being on the water every weekend....rough life ga

Flower Day 5
Not much new to report. It's interesting that the two plants that got Terp and Massive are stretching the most and showing the most pistils (front left Godfather OG and back right GSC).

Tomorrow is watering day and they will come out of the tent for individual cameos ha. I'll also have to add some risers to the two short plants in order to keep the canopy as level as possible.

The Godfsther OG, front left, still has some pale leaves up top but does not appear to be worsening or improving.

Wow man they’re so beautiful! How do you adjust your ac or humidifier? Do you have to move them all out?

I have an Infinity 6" exhaust fan with an external digital control. I set the temp/humidity levels and the exhaust fan increases or decreases automatically. One of the best things I bought for the tent.

Then I adjust the house AC accordingly. I do have a dehumidifier in the room outside the tent lower the humidity. It's really only needed on watering day as the room/tent will get a bit high with humidity.

So that’s the purpose behind havin a exhaust fan? Mind blown

If you want to go the inexpensive route and don't care about smell-reduction, just get a 6" inline booter fan and some ducting from Amazon or your local hardware store. The fan is about $27 US there.
Will do thank you Shed ya smell isn’t to much of a bother here going to be in the same room I store and smoke in anyways

It keeps pretty well. Some say it improves with age. :)
My first harvest is two years old and just smoked some last night. Didn't seem as good as when it was a year to 18 months old. To me, it all seemed best 6-12 months from cure. But I'll keep testing it all haha

DAY 6 FLOWER

well, I decided to take them out of the tent one last time and give them a good inspection during watering. Plus I needed to add risers under thr pots of the two shortest plants. Things seem good!

Group shot, from left to right: GSC w 10ml of terp & massive, Godfather 10ml terp & Massive, GSC plain water, Godfather plain water.

Cameos up next!

GSC with terp/massive. Her nodes are spaced a bit too far apart, she will most likely look like a porcupine during flower with lots of bamboo stakes.
20220529_083232.jpg

Her main stem is interesting, gets narrower after each node. (FYI, not mildew but left over diamaceous earth)
20220529_084138.jpg

Godfather OG with terp/massive. Her leaves look better under normal light. She's the front left in the tent pic, leaves are certainly too light but doesn't seem to be getting worse. I'm afraid to add cal/mag as it seems to usually mess it up for me.
20220529_083236.jpg

GSC plain water. I think she will be the best as her nodes are super tight. Hoping for really dense nugs :)
20220529_083239.jpg

Godfather OG plain water. I'm surprised how small she is for this strain, but she looks good. She needed the most lifters under her pot to bring her canopy even with her sisters.

And now all in the tent and even as can be. While all are shooting out a few pistils, the two with terp massive are shooting out the most. I'm a bit surprised I'm not seeing more on all of them, but I did flip early thinking they would stretch too much. Surprisingly, after all a week, they haven't really stretched at all.....maybe 4-5 inches.

The final in the tent shot...it's sure filling up!
