Hey there buddy. I didn't even know you had another journal going. I am doing my first grow with autos, any advice for me? Btw, your ladies look gorgeous as ever...I hope all is well with you. I know you have been busy working, miss chatting with you.

Sorry, I fall off the world every once and a while... Trying to keep up with journaling... Especially because I may stop around July... or re-think things. Haven't talked to OMM about the next grow to much, trying to get it more solid... Strain selection blah. Reconsidering the Frisian... Anywho. start them suckers in the pot they will be chopped in. You want to do as little to stunt them as you can (no topping, no FIM'ing, no repotting)... LST I have heard will help yields, and honestly... Other than growing plants closely, we probably should always LST if not taking off the top. I really don't have anything for you on nute's.. I think XL is the man who got 4oz off the autos? AMAZING... But I'm sure you've been directed to his greatness before
I've yet to get two fucking ounces off a photoperiod plant!

Now look here my friend! I've got quite the large bong bowl... Its a little bigger than one
Outdoors here is pretty much 12/12 year 'round... You can flower all the time. We do kind of have "seasons" but not so drastic the change in daylight hours.
Yea, the story on the Afghan goes like this... Started in a 2 gallon indoors. Grown enough for me to be comfortable FIM'ing... FIM'ed and put outside. I expected... A little stretch... NOPE... The FIM like recovered and became an odd little cluster-bud. It's kind of neat, if the calyxes swell at the end it will be kind of impressive!
I've got some, what is it... Afghan x Yumbolt, thinking that might be one of the new ones started... Might need a little veg to be nice but whatever.. Thats do-able. I really want to dedicate majority of my plant count for large yielding varieties.. Ones that finish in like 40-50 days...
It would be so much nicer to be able to grow based on medical qualities and throw out 500-1000 seeds at a time! Who cares if you yield 1/4 oz each if you have a hectare?

Say what, you're gonna stop journaling? Not growing right? I hate to see that happen but I am sure you have your reasons. Yes, I was told the same thing about not doing anything to them even lsting. As for nutes, I have been using BPN, I was trying to go with OC this grow but just wasn't able to. Yep, many have referred me to X and told me of his 4 ounces off of a Big Bang auto. I have both of my autos in a gallon pot, I am working with a Skunk #1 and a Blue Mystic. The only thing I have noticed is that it is not finishing in the 60-70 days like the site said they would. I was told you may not get much from autos but I am trying to go with them for now to try to build up my meds. I would be happy to get a half or an ounce from either of them.

Awesome girl! Those are realistic expectations... I think you've convinced me to run my auto seed here... If your using nutes and stuff, I think one gallons are great! I might run a three gallon, soil is cheaper for me... Maybe it will make up the difference and give me an ounce too!
And those seed-sellers usually embellish their flower times... Then again, people harvest at different times... I've never had an "auto" go anywhere near the time they claim... Adding like three weeks, if I remember the ones that finished
But from seed? They can goto hell if they tell me it will be done in 60 days... Unless it does, then I guess I'll go 
OMM had three really nice ones... Two Pakistan Ryders and one Diesel Ryder... Not great yields, but beautiful plants and decent smoke.
The one I've got here is.... NLxBB automatic (world of seeds)... Northern Lights and Big Bud... NL isn't a personal favorite, but it grows beautifully. Maybe WoS has a better NL than I've tried. Heres to hoping!
Oh.. And I'm not stopping growing.. Just might take a break from journaling. I intend to keep myself really busy.. I'll still post.. probably visit other grows more often.

NL X BB, I grew both the auto and the non strains. I'm not saying it was all it could be, someone with alittle more experience with the strain might have milked alittle something-something outta her. I'm thinking I finished the last half of her 60-62 day flower under a 1500 watter to boot. Buds are beautiful, got a light piney/cedar smell, that covers bag appeal. But she lacked pretty bad, to me atleast, in the quality department. If you have a go around with her, I hope maybe it was just bad seeds I got ahold of. It was grown out close as perfect as I could get her. I culled both regular/auto from mine.
You know how it gets smoking alot of weed for along time, you get burnt. You need alittle time away. I get burnt posting journals sometimes, but I always keep plugging away. Besides, it's the 'Safest' place to show off your harvests. Hey that's sad, journals are about all I do on the PC anymore. Use to play alot of Pinochle on here but I burnt on it. Hard to find pino game unless you are in the service, old folks home, or prison. Back ontrack, you just need a break for a minute maybe? on your journal. Posting can be half the fun of growing. And you and Pop's have absolutely the most perfect growrooms in the world, in your disposal. So I hope to see you cranked outsome of them top shelf sativa's every now and then.
Well my cheese variant has just been given a drench of bush masters and place in flower. I kind of like the bush masters. I sure seem to notice Bush Masters tends to do what it claims it will. 3-5 mills per gallon once when you start flower is all I use. You need to do it twice if you got a grow kind of like those wheel setups or vertical grows where height can be a big issiue. Keeps shorter spaced nodes, and kicks into flower pretty fast. Might be my imagination on the shortening time of the transion time but, I can see 'tighter' bud structure, and less stretch in my plants. I did acouple comparison grows with/without it. f you ever use it beware' use as derected. More

I think that was the first tape I ever owned, melancholy and the infinite sadness. Two tapes! Woo! Never got to listen to the 2nd tape. It was ruined by something.. I don't remember.
Fields man, thats what I want! Not really, I'm quite lazy. A good size room full, or perhaps outside like... a solid 30 sq. feet. Nothing ridiculous!

Changing plans left and right (not really)! Anywho... The new seeds are called Ata Tundra... by Seedsman... I hope your Cheese comes out nice, I'm sure it will! Not sure I've seen you grow anything that didn't! OMM's spoke about your endeavors with Bushmaster, it sounds like an interesting product. But I've got ~92 million miles between my tops and the light bulb OMM and I are rolling with

Once I see cards, or someone asks me to play a card game... I get instantly bored. Instantly! Its really odd. Even "card" elements thrown into video/computer games... Total turn off. So there is some secret thing that makes Vegas awesome? You can keep it. Don't need anymore cognitive dissonance. So... Tomorrow! I'll be putting up pictures around noon probably. Gonna try to get some nice close ups of the Afghan... Might not picture it, but we should be repotting the two Exodus Cheese plant... And putting the Big Buddha Cheese out to flower. If we get intense winds again, I really do not know if the Exodus will handle it well, they are better plants than the other two Cheese in a lot of ways... But very spindly, which is true to what I've read. They will be staked the day they go out... Which will likely be next weekend.
Getting more excited about the 2046, I bet that girl will explode in growth once shes in the 5 gallon... I told OMM that I may just... Kind of bury the Smart Pot the 2046 is in... In the ground. If it increases the yield, who cares about loosing a $5 pot? That doesn't even get me a gram from dealers... Anywho, if we put it out at the end of the month.. It will harvest around my b-day

A kind coworker gave me a flute! Its a student model, but I dont care... Change a few springs and Ill make it sing
very slow action due to it... And ill have to replace pads... Not much cost when you know what to do, just time... Honestly its a decent days work. Gonna get a uke in March... Maybe ill serenade the girls and put it on youtube for my 420 friends.- Thread starter
