THsea Grows Indoors Soil

Hi THsea. Buddy, the plants will be OK...take are of you first! Hard to do when you don't any smoke. When you feel better come on over and we will smoke a few. Well, my card is on it's way......From last September to now. Hawaii is way behind on the cards as usual! I wonder if they will ever catch up. :circle-of-love:
Hey OMM! I just got an 1/8th of some homegrown stuff... Some seeds, but its satisfactory. It's giving me a bit of an appetite, always a quality I like... Smells like hell though. Haven't smoked any, but since its not "sensimilia".. Maybe it will just be vaped. I'll bring some next time I see you! :) I'mma ask my friend if he can give me more information on it... Just for our records on the seeds. :high-five:

its hard to find good local grown stuff
i guess it depends wha island your on
easier to find high grade imports..........

Yea, really depends on the island... On oahu you will find more high quality imports, but to my knowledge there aren't a lot of "oahu" strains. I think Plumeria is... But the last batch may have just been grown here. Who knows! I don't see much... I'm lucky to have some unique strains though... I still like to 'buy local' when I can. But it seems what circulates widely of the island varieties tends to be screwed up grows.... With evil seeds.

I've never found a seed in plumeria... But its not what people would refer to as "home grown" here... HG is kind of used as a term for "not good enough to remember the name". Or at least with the hooligans I know.

:) So exciting! Someone else who has tried this rare island herb of my desire... I'm not the biggest fan of the Sativa... But Plumeria takes the cake. I'd choose it over all but the best of indica's. I'm really hoping my Kona Coffee's will be to indica's as Plumeria has been to island sativa's.

For some reason, when you look at commercial seed banks, most of the hawaiian stuff is always touted to be "pineapple" flavored... Quite honestly, I'm sure it exists... But the good, solid hawaiian smoke I've tried has been mainly flowery tasting... With the indica's I've noticed more fruits like banana, papaya.. Not so much citrus-y or acidic fruit tasting... Just sayin'

Sayin' aside... The PE is one vigorous gal! Stinks pretty in veg, I suspect the very air will be intoxicating once shes in flower! :high-five:

ive got a couple of seeds called aiea came from delta9 labs bought from single seed center see how this supposed local variety tastes. one i really miss and havent seen since i was a kid was "hash buds" the closest herb ive tasted to this came from alaska with an alaskan i was working with on kauai in the early 90's and was told it was a hawaiian strain grown up in alaska.
heres a description of aiea
This strain is quite the multinational; it brings together the best of the east and the west. It began life as a Hawaiian Indica that was sent to us by one of our friends. We then crossed it with our strong and bushy Afghan male. This male is great because it really leaves the dominant flavours of the original mum intact yet greatly increases the yield of anything we've crossed it into. While the female had a great crystal structure under magnification we decided we would also like to increase its yield. There should not be too much variation within the phenotypes either. The strain has an incredible candy flavour that is almost as sweet as cotton candy. The plant doesn't get too tall and prefers a medium feed. You will not be disappointed with the Aiea.

Strain type: Indica 80; Sativa: 20
Buzz: strong but clear with a heavy body buzz
Taste/smell: very fruity
Flowering time: mid Oct. outside
Parents: Hawaiian Indica (Female) x Pure Kandahar Afghan (father)
Yield: 450-550 g/m2
Medical benefits: this is a good bronchial dilator
have a couple regular seeds of this gonna try it, dont know when yet still have a bunch of other fem seeds to try too

Cool! You know, OMM tried to pop 3 or so of those Aiea... No luck on a single one. It's definitely one I want to grow... It sounds nice! I hope you have excellent luck with it! :high-five:

Hash buds? Do you think it might have been from a Hash Plant? Interesting.. I've got a HashPlant Haze seed.. Not quite the same thing once you throw in a little haze I suppose ;) And its a regular seed!.Yuck!..

I've heard lovely things about alaskan cannabis.. Matanuska Tundra is some good herb!... In Hawaii some people say Kauai has the best of the Isle buds... Honestly.. They all have unique strains. When you have a certain standard.. I feel its less an issue of potency as much as an issue of what qualities one is seeking in herb. I would never say Banana Patch or Plumeria had a stronger of the two.. They are just night and day in what they give you.

Sorry, gotta stop rambling! :) I wish my problem was figuring out what I want to smoke for what.... Not til I get this growing thing down!

Thanks for coming to my journal, OMM told me about you... ;) All good things, of course!

So... I made a decision! This is in reference to the replacement for the Shot Adrenaline... It will be a Dutch Passion Blueberry... She will be rocking 12/12 from seed... We shall see what she can do... Just so you all know, this one will be a 2 liter airpot with Fox Farms Ocean Forest... I'll let you know when she goes in the pot my friends.. Started germination today.

alaskan cannabis is da BomB!!!

HEY! I have a question since your using the fox farms. We are replanting our mothers tomorrow in the same stuff. How long before they will need nutes? We have been using the Alaska fish fert 5-1-1 but the plants still look kinda weak and sickly. Decided to go with the OC+
I seem to remember meeting an...as OMM would call "an old doper"...:thumb:
Well this fellow traveled to your northerly state... Fondly recounted the taste, and a high that would contend with the most discriminating connoisseur. The names he was able to remember are Matanuska Thunder Fuck, and Matanuska Mint... I think once the strains get acclimated to their new environment they can be really special anywhere. I really don't know much about how people grow there.. Sorry to sound ignorant, but.. Is it too cold to grow most of the year? When I think of Alaska... I have never thought 'bad pot'.. But I do think of quite a harsh landscape.

Maybe this is how kids I met in Kentucky would feel when visiting in the summers.. I don't remember many of the silly questions you would have to answer for being from Hawaii.. My older brother went to basketball camps, and he told me a kid asked if he lived in a grass hut... He said something to the effect of "yes, but a volcano blew that shit up and I'll have to rebuild when get back"... Well played bro. :welldone:

From what people I trust say... About a month you wont need to do anything more than water. They have told me you can burn your plants rather easily if you start a heavy feeding to quickly with it.

Don't know about the fish ferts... I only use a kelp supplement. It's far more mild than what your feeding... Well, that and OC+. You won't be disappointed with that product my friend! OC+ grows very good cannabis. On the cheap at that. I definitely have better production than I thought I would have with the midget pots being used here.. Then again, they are airpots. I sure as hell didn't get this kind of growth out of a two liter soda bottle...

Reminds me... Gotta get another bag of FFOF.. Maybe two. Actually, very much so two. :thankyou:

I figured a month but thought I should ask a soil pro! After reading OMM journals I figured I'd drop the 5-1-1 and go with the OC+ I'm sure I can get it at home de pot!:thanks:

MTF, well......lets just say it gives "couch lock" a whole new meaning. Not sure if I'm heading back home next month or not but when I do I will be bringing back myself a few clones of that. I happen to know peeps! lolWe shall see if they are willing to share.
I know people out in the Matsu who grow and the plants there get rather large. They start the plants indoor and then move them out when the weather permits it. The glacier silt in the valley produces some of the best growing I have ever seen. Very fertile land. 20 some hours a of light doesn't hurt either!

Anything 58* to 63* N Equator, is fantastic for growing during the summer months. The sun is up almost 24/7. Can you say Autos.

My buddy lives in Canada and he has a room with skylights and windows. During the summer the room is bright as day, for 22 hours.

But the weather isn't especially kind even in the summer.

Very cool! Yea, you should definitely attempt to get some MTF! Especially if its couchlock! :)... Wow, the light stuff makes sense.. Obviously, here around the tropic of cancer... Outdoors is 12/12, any time of the year!

Canada! Only been there once... And only for a few hours! It was Montreal. I enjoyed it. The one street musician I ran into was awful. Don't know why that stuck out so, but maybe he was trying to play bad. Pity tips! He pulls out his worked and scarred selmer bundy by day to pan handle... Then probably waddles to a BMW a street over to get his Mark VI for night gigs... Of course everyone tip'ed him as he lazily put out Summertime on his horn. ;)

I always think this, when I see pan handlers that don't seem of a questionable mental state. It's probably not true most of the time. But its a fun thought.. Much nicer than the reality, that its likely one of their few possessions... And if they were a quality musician, its likely muddied by hard drugs... I know it sounds judgmental, but its the only time I've heard good musicians sound like garbage. Especially for instrumentalists. Tone quality is top dog in that venue. Technicality is simply expected.

Anyway.. I don't find anywhere on the continental US to be "kind" in summer! It's too hot! I'd take the extra sun though... To actually have a real season and outdoor veg time would be neat. Can't beat the sun! :thumb:

Thanks Granny! I know, not enough pictures to get you to subscribe ;) j/k... Once the tent is up and satisfactory I will feel better about posting my progress.

Yea, I knew OMM would never grow Dr.G... And he does like a quality sativa, he found with Wild Thailand that they have an extra euphoric quality that indicas don't as often have. :thumb:.. I'm hoping that I can make seeds with its cutting and the Kona Coffee... Then OMM would grow it. Kona Coffee is a pretty fast flowering plant. From the fragmented info I was able to get on it she flowers in ~ two months. So hopefully that will kick down the ridiculous flower time of Dr.G.. Maybe, who knows!

If I get enough seeds, I have big plans for Kona Coffee. Still kind of shaping the idea... I think I will need OMM's help with it... All thanks to you granny, and your great thread on colloidal silver! Gonna be ordering that soon! :thankyou::circle-of-love:

Dropping in to say... YO!

OK, YO!

I read of your sacrificial harvest, some people I know (me) have done the same thing, it's YOURS and if it's needed TAKE IT from the *Beep* and tell her to get used to being used...

I smoked me big hooters of fan leaves when the well went dry too. Rough smoke, but it works.

Just stopping in to get caught up. Want to say thank you for a great read; I always enjoy reading here, great info, great company, and I aplaud your use of grammer and punctuation!:thanks:
Yes, I can be a smart ass sometimes, but I'm being sincere:Namaste:

I got the girls replanted!! They look happy. I'm giving ya some reps for your help in this !!!!:thumb:
Thank you! Hope your girls are happy my friend :high-five:

Thank you.. Not sure how much I get right really in that category! But I think its "grammar" my good sir :)
Honestly, I don't know how OMM puts up with me half the time.

hey thsea looks like your not around
just figure i give this a bump lol
Bump! Yea, haven't been feeling top shape. If I'm not getting good sleep... I sometimes question my ability to post. :) That and its been nice to not sit in front of a screen as often as I've been.

OH and good looking girls bro! :high-five:
Thank you! And you know what?! In the harvest... I found seeds! I was devastated. Not fully developed ones of course.. Blah. Now I'm worried some idiot is leaving males out somewhere nearby!

Honestly, there are probably tons.. Haha!

Fruity stuff, this Vintage.. Not impressed by its yield. The cutting is alive, but I'm not sure what to do... Thankfully its not a rocket of a plant.

Well... I took a good cutting (from the vegged one) of Kauai... Then threw it out. Sucker's a male! That sucks.. But still, it grew really fast and big... So maybe the pollen will be a good thing to play with. The Electric thing is slow and go... But tight nodes, and straight up growth.. I'll take it.. Hopefully its a female.. Feminized seeds are so much nicer!

Things are all nuts kind of.. Figuring out what to do with the KC plants is ridiculous.. It's so much more branch-y than I thought it would be... I've got the space all managed better.. So thats good. I can't wait to flip these plants. The ASHaze cutting is out of control... Gonna take a new (smaller) one... So the indoors is more manageable. I stuck the big cutting outside.

Critical+ is looking really impressive. She should yield considerably more than Vintage... It's not very fragrant.. Which bothers me. Still just kind of grassy smelling, despite trichomes developing. Still really early though.

Thank you all for visiting! Sorry I've slacked on the pictures.. I'll try to get on that this weekend. :peace:
