speaking of being driven nuts when we can't fix something. My dirt bike throttle cable broke. So... I went to the local dealer. Oh boy. 30 box for the throttle cable $30 and the labor 80$. I said HAHA and went home. i looked on ebay(which I prob should have done in the first place) and found a cable for my bike for only 9$! so it came yesterday and went to change out. Stripped the fuck outa the crappy factory screws they gave me. Ended up having to drill them out. Go to put new screw in. what happen? BOTH of these SHITTY screws decide to break half way into my throttle. GREAT. sooooo I drilled two of my very own holes. And then just drilled the screws straight into the handle bars lol. So now I got the cable ran through the throttle. Running down the bike towards the carb. I take the components out (now this is prob 4 hours of rummaging around for screws and tools) and FUCK I think the throttle cable is too short. So now I think Ive come to the conclusion that I have ONCE AGAIN wasted my time trying to be a mechanic. Shit seems so simple until its apart and ready to go back together. Nothing can ever go smoothly. Not that I'm not great handyman else-where, just NOT a mechanic and should never EVER work on something with an engine again. Thought i learned this before many many many many times. Just can see myself spending over a hundred dollars to replace a cable. well anyway I'm highly frustrated today. Im going to make some coffee. Smoke a disgusting cig and then move on to the important things, the garden.
JTG your plants are beautiful as always. I hope Y is doing at least a bit better today, as to where it is at least tolerable. :/ Going to do a video update in a few. Stay cool JTG!
