Shelton's Shakedown Street cover art for the Grateful Dead was so influential. That was where it was at Shakedown Street and Crumb's Keep on Truckin'. Collected underground comix and got into the Dead and smoked just like Fat Freddy would. Head shops are surely missed. The Inner Eye in Montclair, NJ in the early 80s.

Hey Bill, I bring a 55 gallon drum of the stuff. That should keep us fair skinned stoners sunburn free for a while. I know you have a boat load of killer weed. What tropical destination are we headed to?

I was only joking about the bikini. I would not be caught dead or stoned in a banana hammock. I was a surfer back in the day and spent a year in Puerto Rico. Surfing, bartending and picking all the shrooms you could ever want during the rainy season. Good times nearly 35 years ago.

Perhaps Jamaica?
Their open to pot smoking I here.
Although I read somewhere Puerto Rico has mushrooms ;)
And half decent surfing.

Yea poor Cuba, I would love to go there someday. Hurricanes and earthquakes have ravaged that poor island.

I'm down with Jamaica. I have been there twice but only to the touristy areas. Both times I swear the Jamaicans thought I was the heat. Never got solicited with weed but my gf at the time got offered weed, the guys sister and many other things. 🤣
A trip to the interior where the weed is grown would be a great place to pass the winter blues away. Lets get those plane tickets ordered up. Pronto!

I’ve been to Havana:love:
Sat on a castle wall smoking a Coheba and watching 55 and 57 chevys cruising down the rd like it was nothing.
Had a fantastic time in Cuba.
Actually that’s where I started smoking.
Brought home those dam cigars and never looked back.
The whole island smells like sugar cane and rum.
Would like to find out Jamaica smells though.
Cruising pot plantations sounds wonderful.
Let’s charter a jet to pick everyone up and fly in style :thumb:

Dam, Bill that sounds like a hell of a trip. I enjoy smoking cigars too never had a Cuban cigar though.

Now that's a great plan! Could you imagine the fun we would have. The whole 420 gang hanging in Jaimaica. Get those passports ready people. We are gonna embark on an epic journey.

I really miss the old Head Shops and I never passed one without checking them out. I remember when I got some Hustler X-rated rolling papers and being a big hit with my teenage friends. Miss them old days. CL🍀
