These are springtails right?

They move pretty quickly and seem to hop when disturbed. Found them in my coco when repotting. Vast majority say they're safe but I have heard a couple people say they eat root hairs. Any thoughts? My plants have been experiencing slower growth but I think the issue lies elsewhere. Just want to make sure I'm identifying these correctly. Thanks!

Finding critters in the media does suggest the potential for them chowing down on your root zone. I’ve never had springtails so I can’t confirm the identity of your pests but I will say whatever that bug is - is not there to play cards or watch tv. Most bugs find our plants as a resource to be used for their housing, mating and to feed their offspring
