Remember if it ain't broke...
You veteran growers kill it with HID. And If I had a bit larger space I would possibly go for it, since it's so much more cost effective to start. So far I'm stoked on the new white leds! They're the first ones to even come close to HID, imo. But I heasr you... I'm not so big on change, and if it's working I'm not one to change ..

A happy Sunday to you sir shed!

I've been trying to use this times to get around to my 50+ subscriptions. Don't be mad.... I may have ran some shatter yesterday .. But just for the sake of the "weigh in" (when ever that may be .) I saved the run bud.

Not too much to report in the tub today.

The wife had an brilliant idea this morning.... we are driving to get a bagel and coffee as the power had gone out at 730.... And I was like, "this damn power crap, I'll have to wait to send my plants into 12 12 so they don't hermie. I may have to prune them back some"

*here's the kicker*

She chimes in, "well can't you bend them down and spread them out like you did with the others."

I looked over at her like what have you done with my wife?!

It was pretty cool. For as much as she has always "hated me growing" it's clear she sees that it brings me joy, and is trying to be more supportive ..

She's actually a pretty savy little gardener! So I really hope to get her more involved in our outdoor veggie herb and fruit garden this year. Not to mention it's a great thing every child should learn! So I'm looking forward to the family gardening to come soon.

I'll hopefully be bringing in some soil the thaw for beets, carrots, snap peas, and maybe even some Brussels sprouts to be started soon! Gotta love the days growing longer and sun reaching higher in the sky everyday ...
 
My wife is the same but at least they see the joy in our hearts about this special plant hahahah still waiting brotha for those numbers .. dam that sucks no power and in the cold suckssssss hope they dnt herm

It honestly it is probably more.... I just can't get enough of looking through other members gardens! And nothing makes me feel better than trying to help a grower in need. I'm certianly no expert by any means, but just happy to help out because I learn a lot in the process too!

I've always been a firm believer in collecting as much data and ideas as possible, then crafting and combining them to develop my own unique methods. With growing there are so many cool techniques that I want to steal a little from each one and make it work for me.

And remember, "the more you know, (all together now).... THE MORE YOU GROW!"

I see where you are coming from . I love it too. I would be on here all day . Haha.
But you know daily duties. And I love helping out as well . I my hung is I neglect my own journal hahaha a trade off I guess.
My journal does not get the amount of traffic and that is fine . I have my convos I other people's journals . Keep my own for my perusal at will . And update when I like .

We haven't flipped them yet Jack. They're saying snow all week. So looks like I'll push them another week or so.

Numbers should be in at some point. I haven't forgotten about you all! Lol :circle-of-love:
 
Just keep posting in other peoples journals and then when you post new updates in yours you'll see a nice increase in traffic. I spend way more time in other people's journals than I do mine.

I agree. It almost feels like a chore to update my journal, but looking at others is always a treat! Heck there was a while where it was me kinda rambling to myself, and InTheShed replying... then I noticed just around the time to flip the traffic picked up some.

Honestly I don't care where the action happens as long as we're passing on good info, respectfully exchanging ideas, or just joking around. I love my 420 family, and it's cool to see everyone connecting in various threads!

But I subbed up to your channel so I'll get all the updates now! If a picture is worth a thousand words and a video is comprised of thousands of pictures.... your videos are worth a million words ..

Thanks bro appreciate that . Between here and AFN they are currently my 2 most visited sites lately . Lot of good people and info on both . I love them .

I have to get around to fixing up my grow space . Then I think I would update my thread more often then. But you know procrastination lol .
 
Sweet stuff, I get glimpses of support from my partner so that's great to hear! I love summer gardening...my new tries this year will be Cucamelons and Gerbera Daisy's .
I like to learn a new plant or two every year and I'm excited about this years choices;)
I'm sure there will be a few #gardenporn pics this summer.

As you totally should be my friend .. Growing those trees is a full time job! But your doing Awesome Joe. Your gonna have some work CUT out for ya for sure! Probably should just go get a chainsaw so you can do it like a boss .
