Well today marks the 3rd consecutive day we have lost power. 5 or 6 hours Sunday afternoon/ evening. Over an hour last night. And now this morning.

My poor veg plants are suffering. And of course the timer is a pos and the outages have totally phucked my lighting schedules....

But such is life and I am just grateful all this shit is happening after I harvested and before I flipped the next round....

Tomorrow I'll grab some butane and other toys from the smoke shop and prepare to make some BHO. Arctic is set on trying a moon rock.... And I'm set on watching him cry for 15 minutes after trying a toke .. Gotta try everything and live life to the fullest right?

Hope everyone is having a more well lit day than we are! And as always may your plants prosper and buds swell.

Okay. Little grow space update!

Scrog is out. Leaves cleaned up. Quantum board was taken down for 2 board build. Good timer set to 18/6. I still nees to wipe/spray down the tub before the veg plants make the move into the tub of love ..

I climbed in the tub, shut the flap, and with the veg space running, absolutely no light leaks! However I plan to go nuts with some preventative taping. Why NOT?

Shed the scrog was a pain in my you know what to get out so clearly my duct tape skills are of the highest caliber .

Yep! I think the plan is to invest in one since we just got the car and 2 other bills paid off. Good looking out LOM

I tell ya..best investment I've made, well was fir camping, tailgating, and fun really but has saved my ass

I have a Honda 2000, best $900 I've spent. Quiet and powerful. I had an old lady take out a power pole in my old life, and HR before our fantasy draft at my house
Genny ran my 65" tv, dish, router, lights, 8 computers, and was still whisper quiet

If u have power issues with snow, wind, locusts, bombs, aliens, it's a great thing to have. Mine is 11yrs old, starts on 3 pulls max every time

Thanks bud! I'm pretty happy with myself. Apparently the hundreds of hours studying before and during the grow paid me back big time! I'm working on that DWC project, just need to ensure a consistent supply of electricity first. So I may do a top fed DTW drip system to ensure my roots don't drown in the case of an outage. But hopefully with a generator in our future I can take a swing at the tub DWC!

Morning Chris!

Lol an hour before the draft?! Well you did pretty well I would say... yes I feel they are a VERY worth while investment even if it's just for lights and to charge cell phones.

Well I've started construction on my final QB build!!! No more fiddling with trying to hang a light and driver separate. The frame is an H shape with 2 cross supports. One driver mounted to each piece of aluminum.

I will cut 5 strips of the U-channel and spread them across the top where the diodes are densely clustered to allow heat to disperse more readily.

Hope to add 1 to 2 more of these lights when funds permit. Also I was talking to growmau5 on IG. He has new disc lights that are 3500k and 660 nm (? Far red) runs up to 100 watts and fits the pinned heatsinks that cobs do. They are still on development but at 50 a disc I may have to try a couple to supplement between the 3 sets of boards.

Plants are all vegging in the tub. I will get them transplanted in the next day or 2, Trainned out, Neemed, and flipped when the snow is predicted to slow down...
