I can't take that 100° 100% humidity shit. I grew up in the Arizona desert so I know heat, but I can't do it when it's humid

A lot of people think conceiving under the Aurora is a special blessing so they come shag at -50 in ice huts I assume?
But yeah it's -10 and people walk around in shorts, myself included.... your legs to get too cold if they're moving.

Amen. I live in the cold too. Not so far as dabs and arctic but one of the coldest places in the United States. Geographically the mountains and lakes pull the cold air to the surface here. Just something about my location I guess. But I know the look you are all speaking of when it comes to tourists lol. The ones that wear the big furry hooded coats haha and big giant boots. You can spot a local from miles away because they are wearing snowmobile gear lol. It's the only fucking way to stay warm when the temperature drops below -10 lol skidoo makes some warm shit. (Also note that I won't wear any of it. Lol I don't need checkered flags on my sleeve there bub)
But shots warm as hell none the less.

We were watching a video of the coldest cities in the USA.... and fairbanks is #1. Our average daily temp, -13.something. It's cause it's down in the valley and the cool air settles there I think. You drive into the mountains and theirs a weird temperature inversion.
When we went boarding the other week it was 22 in town and and 36 at the TOP of the hill. Never heard of a mountain who's peak was consistently warmer than their base? Lol. No complaints here!

I give it 5-7 days. I'm staying out of the weather discussion so no one gets mad at 79º and 14% RH. Of course, I left NYC because of the freezing rain (and the rain-forest summers) and I was not fond of upstate NY because of the 3 feet of snow and the 10º temps. Now I have drought and eventually, the big earthquake!
