TheDankBone's Bagseed Grow! Tons Of Pictures

Update #11: Day 12 of documentation (Day 11 was the video) and approx. day 20 from soil for 'Emerald' and the first nameless plant. Day 12 from soil for the New Year's babies(Stumpy and nameless 2).

Sorry about the late update, been pretty busy, I'm going to work at sticking to my word a bit better!

We'll start off with the good news; Emerald and nameless 1 are recovering pretty well from the topping and are progressing toward inter-nodal development! Just

watered them for the first time in 3 days, nothing special, just pure tap. Also tied down two of their biggest fan leaves to start getting the young-uns used to some

training. ;P

Emerald today:

So now we move into the bad news.

Something's going on with Stumpy

11418_2.jpg

Pretty sure it's nute burn :o Any advice as to how I should handle her? Should I flush or just continue to water and monitor?

Anyways, here's the other little baby,

11418_3.jpg

despite the botched transplanting, seems to be coming along just fine. Of course it may be too soon to tell as it's only 2 days

after doing so.

Aaaaand here's the family photo for tonight.

So reader, how is your grow coming along? :Hookah:

Things are looking great Bone. Excellent work.

It does look a bit like nute burn for Stumpy. Is she getting anything? She is little and won't need
much for a bit.

I think that you are fine after your transplant. They will usually let you know pretty quick
if there is a problem.

Cheers friend.

Yeah, I may have hit Stumpy with maybe a little too much SuperThrive x.x

Maybe I should flush? Or should I just keep on keeping on?

Dont give up on lil Stumpy yet bones.

I'll send all my good vibes and will pack a bong for my "stop being a c**t" ritual.

:)

Haha wow, I only just got that little second bit about the ritual just now *facepalm* haha

Get them mood enhancers in ya as my mother calls it x')

ALRIGHT! Off to Update #12! Day 13 of documentation and approx. day 22 from soil for both Emerald and the eldest nameless plant. Day 14 from soil for the youngest nameless and Stumpy.

It's getting more fun for me to make these journals as my plants get older! Got a little ritual to it now :blunt:

11618_1.jpg

Glad I picked up this hobby!:)

So quite a bit of activity has been occurring in my tent over the past 2 days!

For one, Stumpy's toxicity seems to be spreading, but not too fast.

11618_4.jpg

At least she's working on developing her trues at a very steady rate despite her disposition. I've got a lot of faith she'll be in full-effect come a couple waters.

I guess we'll work our way down, from youngest to oldest.

Here is the nameless New Year's Baby ( Really thinking about just naming her/him Baby New Year x') )

11618_2.jpg

Well on her way, definitely stretchier than the rest of the plants, but I think I may have had her too close to the fan :o.

I'm planning on topping both of the New Year's Babies come saturday or sunday :cheertwo:

Alright, lets look at the eldest sisters. I really do pray they end up being fem because they're looking pretty de-eee-ecent(Bubbles voice)!

And of course, the family shot (As you can see I rearranged the tent a bit to accommodate the new sprout entering the mix).

That's all for todays update, hope you all are having a great night/morning/day!

Update #13: Day 14 of documentation and approx. day 23 from seed for both Emerald and Chubby. Day 15 from seed for both Stumpy and Baby New Year.

So, I've been seeing quite a bit of purpling on the stems of a couple of the plants, so I decided to give them all a light flush for the last watering. Not to also mention the dark leaves that Chubby was developing.

Here is Stumpy post-flush

And here is BNY

11718_3.jpg

Both Emerald and Chubby are doing great, definitely progressing faster than I expected.

Man i am digging the new format. You're like the Casey Neistat of weed.

I had a few of the little holes on my plants when they were younger and i just put it down to me nicking it when i was lst'ing with the wire but I may have been a bit in denial (it doesn't seem to have any effect on them know though)

Plants are looking sick.

p.s please dont forget me when your youtube famous :surf:

Haha that's how I stay humble, know your roots! Or your Humbleroots *Name of one of the delivery services here in Sacramento* Appreciate the support Aussie! Won't lie, was getting a little unmotivated seeing how little activity there was here so thanks for the morale booster! As far as the holes go, I'm not too worried about it :P Have had the same thing happen to plants in the past that flourished just fine. But to be on the safer side, I'm planning on picking up a clone to keep in the tent JIC one of the plants needs to get replaced in the future due to slow growth or something *cough* Stumpy *cough*.

Update #15: Day 20 of documentation and approx. day 30 from seed for both Emerald and Chubby. BNY and Stumpy, day 22.

So wow, it's been a while since I've updated as I've been busy with life stuff. But anyways, my plants are coming along quite well, but with that progress I've also come to notice two of my plants not performing as well as I'd hope by this point in their life.

I guess we'll start with the issues, and my imposed solutions.

First off; Stumpy

- Not really looking like she's trying to recover from the toxicity or the heavy stress I put her under. :(

12418_5.jpg

- So now I've decided to place a Pineapple Thai seed I picked up from a verified breeder in the tent.( Just in case I have to make a vice decision with Stumpy :( ) We're no longer working with JUST bagseed!

12418_2.jpg

Alright, and I topped Baby New Year even further from the last time I topped her, just to get her lower, and get her a bit more prepped for future training.

12418_7.jpg

As far as the eldest ladies, they're both coming along really well! I know I never really enunciated on it before, but I am doing quite a bit of experimentation. So until this point I've been growing them both identically, everything I do to Emerald, I do to Stumpy. However, I had planned to mainline/Top Stumpy, and LST/Top Emerald. So now you're about to start seeing me do some experimentation with the girls.

Let's start off with Emerald.
12418_4_1.jpg

12418_3_2.jpg

As you can see, she's got quite a bit more tops from the last update, pointing toward the light. And I've slowly been acclimating each of the branches to grow outward with green twist-stakes. At this point, I believe her to be in full veg-mode and I can really see the day-by-day difference now. Once she grows about an inch more, I'm planning on topping her again.

Now Chubby is the one taking the brunt-end of my experimentation.

12418_3_1.jpg

12418_4_2.jpg

I topped her the same time I topped Emerald. So she's at exactly the same place. However, when I was attempting to LST the two tops, coming out next to the top I removed, one of them snapped right off. So that's why she's looking like she has less branches. Oops.. Accidental experimentation haha. Other than that, she's definitely doing really well.

And here's the family photo for tonight. Definitely looking much greener in there now! *cheers* :Namaste:

Howzit DankBone - I saw your drive-by through my journal and had to come have a look at what you were up to. Subbed up dude. Interesting to see a perspective from a legal state. All these great things that we've never experienced over here like medical dispensaries, delivery services, and outdoor growing. Not to mention the great weather - so jealous.

All the best with your bag-seed grow. What is bag-seed exactly? :hmmmm: just random strains I imagine, how many seeds in a bag, are they cheaper than breeder seeds? I'm going to follow along to see how it all works out.

Thanks for stopping by! Loving your thread, great stuff! I use the term bagseed to describe seeds found in flower from unknown breeders. I used to buy units from one of my friends here in California. He had one of his crops seeded and offered a unit at a really reduced price at the time. So like any good canna-holic, I purchased, and set aside every seed I had in a safe, cool space. So now you're seeing the fruits of that x)

So tl;dr, yes, random seeds. And in the sense that I didn't necessarily pay for the seeds in specific, they're free :)

I do, however, have one seed in there that is of 'verified' genetics. The Pineapple Thai(Just planted 2 days ago). Actually just bought 8 seeds in total from one of the delivery services here in Cali (x4 Pineapple Thai and x4 Trainwreck). Much more convenient atm for me to do that, then to head to the dispensary/a friends house. Will be excited to see how those turn out.

How i wish i had a delivery service here man lol. I totally get the unmotivated thing, I've been feeling the same way lately and if I gave you a bit of a boost you more then deserve it as you've been doing the same for me so thanks bone.
