TheBlaze's Multi-Strain Grow In Coco & 600W HPS

IDK my friends,

Since moving to true organic living soil OLS all plants and seedlings I've grow have been complaint free. Maybe I've been lucky, but I'd bet there's something going on in living soul that will grow anything care free. Yes, it's a bit of work up front but I'll never go back to bottled nutes now that I've seen, smelled and smoked the truth for myself. No disrespect intended, but problem strains or plants are a thing of the past for me. :circle-of-love:

No offense taken Doc. It makes sense what you say. A good living soil will provide the plants what they need when they need it. It's just not a method I'm too familiar with, so I tend to stick to what I know.

Maybe tomorrow lol! Just kidding.

Your plants are beautiful Blaze, and they are literally growing at the speed of light lol.

Don't change a thing brother! You're killing it!

I'm all organic outdoors, nutes in... Don't change for health reasoning, some organic matter will kill you quicker than some synthetic nutrients..

There was no Internet or hydro stores when I started growing.... I went into my garden took a spade of soil and planted a seed.... my love and passion for organics grew from that first seed. These days with all the info and products I feel that each person has there own style that fits them which ever way you grow. We all want to get to the same ending of dank bud but the path we all take can be very different.

@GrizzWald , I presume you are taking about the nasty pathogens that can be carried in organics?

Blaze your grow is looking amazing but never stop trying to improve it :thumb: the day I die is the day I stop learning new things about this amazing plant we grow

Yeah, there is still plenty to learn. Just figuring out how to save on time and effort can be a steep learning curve. It's "easy" to grow 1 plant. There is still plenty to learn before I have a crop like yours bud.

Pathogens, but also littler known is poisoning, lead Mercury arsenic.... Don't get me wrong, not a concern of mine, I'm going to die of something one day, just hope it's painless.. Just see some bagging one over other for benefits that aren't there as thought. Like nutrients, doesn't matter how it's presented to the plant, the plants taking the same elements and minerals, whether waiting for them to break down to edible levels, presented on a platter.. Salts nutrients and taste is another matter. Taste will change with different nutrient or conditioners you use. Seaweed concentrate will taste different than a earthworm or a fish.... mineral intake should be same on both, cause they taking the same minerals... Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use anything but compost and organic ferts in outdoor garden but it's more for the "earths" health benefits and ease, why use anything else? Reason not indoors is pests and time....

@blaze I hope you don't mind this chat in your thread bud but Grizzwald brings up some important points.

@GrizzWald , you bring up a very important point on knowing where your soil is coming from. Heavy metal poisoning is a very read problem in organic gardening . You must always go straight to the source for your organic products and get the very best you can or make them yourself.

This is really bad information. Organic gardening has been used since man first broke soil. Thousands of years. Salts and pesticides have been around for just decades. The real danger lies in growing with bottled nutes and then having to use pesticides when you get a Borg or other pest outbreak. I can't even imagine what those bottled nutes are doing to your lungs. I rarely get worked up, but to suggest that bottled nutrients are safer than organic living soil is just irresponsible.

The ONLY thing you need to be careful of when growing in OLS is making sure your inputs are clean and responsibly sourced.

.

Of course brother.. Different points of view are welcome in my world, as long as I can also share mine and debated logically, not just from the heart, which happens a lot... I'm Guilty here, lol..... I'm always up to be educated but none will brainwash me, I'm to skeptical for that.. Ying and yang in everything, so can't be fundaMental, lol.... don't know if your been into my place but come have a look at my organic girl, just put pics up today. Only got one in my outdoor garden, she's coming along nicely, still 8 weeks to go I'd say.... Peace doc, all good man..

Blaze :passitleft:You owe me some subscribers anyway :rofl::rofl:

Ah.. it warms my cockles to see guys end a dispute so amicably.

Rock on brothers! :tommy::thanks:

EDIT: Yeah Grizz, I admit, I was sniping on your thread. LOL! Sorry mate.

UPDATE

2 weeks of 12/12

Proper bud sites are forming now. Not just a few pistils here and there. I tried to capture it in the photos, but doesn't quite do them justice.

The plants... they are BEEG!!

Managed to follow Reaf's advice and attach the fan to the tent pole. This freed up quite a bit of space. As you will see.

I switch off the LED when taking photos, but it has been doing duty in the tent. I'm convinced it's helping a little. Every watt counts right.

Thanks Doc. I suspect that next week this time, that tent will be filled from corner to post.
