TheBlaze's LED & HPS Grow - Coco & Perlite

Yeah buddy! Hitting the mid stall. Mine are doing the same thing. Can't wait till they shift gears and start packing it on. Those are the fun days! Either way, your garden is absolutely beautiful!

Awesome looking ladies Blaze, SA showing us what's up. That mix of lights is doing a great job on those flowers.

Cheers

My main man Miller! (how is that for alliteration) :)

Thanks bud. Would love to try my hand at some of the awesome LED tech so freely available to you guys, but my chinese jobbies seem to be doing a half decent job. So not all bad.

Thanks Doc! Yeah, a little bit of patience, and then the real fun begins. The big LC-OG is so far ahead in building buds, it's almost a freak. I will try highlight that with tomorrows update. I think she is going to be a good'un.

Thanks bud. Don't stress if you don't get a big stretch on your girls. A lot of it is strain dependent, and AI is all indica if I'm not mistaken. Most of mine are hybrids, so they will display some sativa traits, like the stretch. My blue venoms are the shortest of the bunch, but they are also about 80% indica, so that makes sense. Tall doesn't always equal yield, although often it helps. :)

Yeah I got the AI for that reason alone actually. Very little thought went into my seed choice. Heavy hitting short plants. Wasn't sure on the spacing and if I had enough height to do sativas but I'm learning that I do. I just really like the way they look all stretched out.

I have very little stress in my life ;). Even for some reason if my grow just blew up I'm glad I've gotten the experience I have. I must say, anytime I have questions or am curious about something I usually come straight to your journals and can find the answer. Thanks for the help and for keeping an experienced eye on my journal.

Man, they have exploded with beautiful growth.... damn on fire Blaze, smoking man...

I have high hopes for your plants bud. They look the business, and I'm sure they will reward you for due diligence. Next round try some hybrids out. I can recommend Nirvana, G13 Labs and DNA Genetics. The latter is my favourite, but they are a little pricey.

Thanks mate! Now they just need to live up to their potential.

UPDATE

Day 27 of 12/12 and 17 of bloom.

Defoliated the last 2 plants, the Lemons, on Wednesday night. Now you can get a better idea of how much foliage I take. You can also see bud sites more clearly now. They have already bounced back, and are all pointing to the sky.

Last 2 photos are of the same LC-OG. The larger one. I wish I could take clones, because she looks like a winner. She is budding up much faster than the others and she is also starting to pump out some trichs. She looks like a keeper.

When I open the tent now, I get a strong aroma of rotten fruit and gym socks. Bliss... LOL!

Thanks mate, but the problem is that I have no space for clones. The set up I have no is the only space I have for growing.

As said above clones can take any time
Bit longer to veg out but easily done
I take a cut an root it
Once roots are out I top the head of the bud leaving only the 2 side nodes
This is faster to re veg than a top bids with a bud on it
When it re grows it will be like a topped plant all bushy n short n tight
Get cloning good luck
Oh n u plants are lush great job on them

Thanks for the info and the compliment bud. Only issue is I can't clone under 12/12 lighting schedule though.

Those are some monsters you got there! Looking good!

Not to sound dumb Blaze, but I'm using a CFL on a clone in a closet. I'm thinking of getting cuts from my GG and using few 65 watt CFL'S one per plant. 24 Hour veg can run anywhere. I'm sure there is a reason it won't work cuz your not already doing it.

Cheers

You're right Miller. I used to have a box with about 200w of CFL lighting and an extractor fan in it. That would have been perfect. I sold it to a friend about 18 months back. Doubt he has used it. Maybe I should buy it back from him.

Thanks brother
