TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

Granadilla seeds are going in today, got a diy seedling tent for winter so all good to go, and going to the farm next week to mark out space hopefully.......

Make a journal so we can watch you! It's much more fun to watch someone on their own thread than through someone else's thread. I'm sure Blaze wouldn't mind if you dropped a link here!

Morning there Asesino85, it will be a separate journal but only be up and running end of sept 2018 when our spring starts, but want the granadilla seeds to get a proper head start so gonna drop some today get some seedlings going, into ground mid winter as only dusk till dawn gets cold but the days are lovely and warm. Will take pics of progress so new journal hits the ground running and my soil should be ready. An adapted Coots recipe from a fellow 420sa member...

Yeah, I don't mind at all.

I found it! It is now officially a calmag bukake party up in here.

Morning mr. Blaze, regarding calmag, here's a link form emilya if ya run out o calmag, on my list of to do things...Emmie's DIY CalMagPhos+ From Eggshells, for a rainy day of course if you bored...:Namaste:

if you dont fully char the eggshells you end up with only calcium that's water soluble. Tricky thing is knowing how much to feed

Another thing, on hydro herb site it says not to use the calmag in flower due to the high percentage of nitrogen involved.
I presume this is the calmag nitrate, therefore we need straight calmag which the normal hydro shops don't keep.

Sorry still can't upload a pic of their sites info.

I'm using that in my RDWC, I'm using less of the veg nutes when I add it to even out the N situation. It's also why I've been looking into the water soluble calcium you make yourself as that way you just add epsom salts for your calmag. But the plants feed more on one than the other so also not sure what the ratio of calmag is in the calmag nitrate and which you should feed more: cal or mag?

Yup, molasses also can cover the magnesium part I believe, the calcium is where it's lacking.

The epsoms is the mag, molasses has calcium in it but not huge amounts plus it has other extras in too, mostly good I've read though, but seems the amount of molasses you'd need to feed for the cal could be too much. But I'm a noob and this is mostly 2nd hand knowledge

Just 3 weeks left for the Purple Envy. I hope she chunks up nicely now. She should be due for her next swell now.

Nice looking stuff here Blaze. Sweet!

FWIW...I'm using calmag made from Emilya's recipe. I had one grow seems like last year that I didn't use any calmag and had no problems. Last grow suffered so I decided to make some by her formula. Both grows were under LEDs. Using it at 1 tsp per gallon. We shall see.

I tried searching for the username and recipe but no luck, you have a link by any chance?

Interesting stuff. I tried Epsom salts and had problems, I’m glad I have no issues getting and sticking with CalMag. Justin the N in CalMag should be no issue as long as you account for it in your formula for your solution. At least that’s my experience in coco.

Beautiful shots Blaze, Purple Envy is always so photogenic.
