TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

Sorry about the double message but what I've read is bucket No2 needs to be hot water. I just want to confirm what is meant as hot? Hot from Tap or boiling? Hot so can barely touch it concerns me a little

No problem

- 10L buckets
- 1st bucket, luke warm water
- 2nd bucket, hot water. Not scalding hot though. Just a little hotter than a hot bath.
- 3rd bucket, cold water. Not ice cold though.

In first bucket, add 150ml of concentrated lemon juice. I use brookes tru-lem. Stir that in. Then while the water is still swirling, add half a large coffee cup of robertsons bicarbonate of soda. Mix it all thoroughly.

Soak buds in the first bucket for about a minute. Also gently shake buds in the solution. Rinse for 20 seconds in the last 2 buckets.

Shake off excess water. Place buds on carlton towel with a fan blowing on them for about 15 - 20min. Then on to your drying racks or drying lines.

Shot man, that really helps. Was worried about the hot water because one site said the hottest water from your geyser and I thought that was a bit extreme

If it is too hot, you will notice oil floating around in the last 2 buckets. Not good.

I have also used LIME juice, same difference really, just need the chemical reaction with the baking soda. You will see the solution FOAM and or SUD's UP, and that is a good thing. I've seen dish soaps that have LIME or lemon in them, it's a good cleaner FOR shure! I just washed up 7 plants and I go first bucked HOT tap water, with the lime/soda, then I fill the sink for second rinse(cold tap water), then the last bucket another cold rinse. YOUR buds will glisten and GLOW like NO other. I had two or three plants that were fairly dirty, the others on the low to average side regarding filthy water. IS it worth it... FOR 8 BIG plants(7 finished), IT SURE IS!!

Don't stress Justin. It's not going to fuck up your buds. As Johnnie pointed out, it is well worth it.

UPDATE

Day 66 (Purple Envy) and day 59 (Strawberry Diesel)

You will notice the difference between the SD and PE in the below pictures. PE buds are chunky and solid, while the SD is still sporting immature buds. It is clear that the SD still has many weeks left in it. Something has stalled them considerably. They are starting to bulk up now and put on some frost. They will go to 11 to 12 weeks easy. They are on 8.5 weeks now. A week behind the PE.

First pic is the PE bud that fell over under its own weight. Photo doesn't do justice. That is a fat nug!

I think that is very possible. The purple envy's show clear resistance to pests. Also, I don't think it helped that I literally chopped them in half before flipping them to 12/12. Lesson learnt...
