Wow, I really fell off the face of the earth there for a little while. I was really busy the week before vacation, and part of that was finishing harvesting these ladies and cleaning up the 5x5 tent (and RDWC). I got everyone harvested by Wednesday and got the tent cleaned up before vacation.

All the buds were in the drying closet, which was reading a little high in RH. So I cracked the door and told my son I would let him know when to close it. Then I went on vacation...

... and completely forgot about anything and everything back home. When I got back it was near 50% RH in the closet. So I shut the door and set the humidifier and then forgot them for another week. The humidifier does a good job of keeping the RH up in the closet so nothing got too dry.

Yesterday, after 18-21 days in the drying closet, I finally pulled them out and bucked the buds off the stems. They seemed dryer than usual but the stems still didn't quite snap. The buds plucked off the stems pretty easily, though. I ended up with a 1/2 filled 5Lb Grove bag. It weighed in around 1160g, or a little over 2.5Lbs (41OZ). It's not as much as my last grow, but that was kind of the point. It was much easier to process and less larf/bottom bud. Now that it's been in the bag a day, the Govee in there is reading 61% RH. So, I guess you can't overdry in a 60% RH closet :) I have the 5LB Grove bag in my office, and I'll turn it every day of two to keep them from bricking up in the bag. After a week I'll just leave them alone and let them cure. We've been enjoying the mother Kush Mints and we're looking forward to sampling these.

Thanks again to Vivosun for sponsoring this grow. Thanks to Prescription Blend and Cannapot and all the other great sponsors here at 420. And thanks for everyone that followed along on this grow. This may be the last run in the Vivosun Bud Factory for a couple of months. I'm too busy with the vegetable garden, pool, lake, and everything else. Also, after over 5Lbs from the last two runs I'll be set for a while. I'm thinking about running tomatoes or peppers, I'd love to see a run of chili peppers! By next fall I'll probably be ready to fire the system back up. Until then, catch me on one of my other journals. Have a great summer!

WooHoo! & WOW!

What a Spectacular finish!

At over 2.5 lbs, you have ME rethinking the 2x4 tent! I promised my wife I wouldn't take over our new house, BUT...

❤️

Damn fine harvest! You really have run a factory out of that thing, a steady supply of fine herbs. I'm excited to see what you'll do with the Banana Jealousy in your other journal.

With two big harvests in a row from the 5x5, I'll probably just be growing autos for variety for a while. Small growing is more relaxing anyways.

Thanks RSR. I haven't done anything with Kiko since moving her to the 4x4, but she's drinking about 1G/day now. I'm just about ready to stretch her out and flip her to flower :)

I was really laughing at that post but went with the Love emoji because it all turned out so well in the end! Vacation looks amazing without a canna-care in the world,
Thanks Shed. I had a great time at the beach but I'm still trying to catch back up.
and I was sure when I scrolled through your pics there was going to be a scallion-stuffed chicken recipe coming up.

Now that would be foul!

Looking good LKA  :bong:
Thanks GW.
Did they end up pretty dense?:):bong:
They were more dense than the mother but still had plenty of foxtails and nanners. With all the nanners on both the mother and in this tent, though, I've yet to find one seed in any of the bud :)
