I had to take the helmet off #2 as well. I drip water on them a few times over the course of 10 minutes or so to loosen everything first. Haven't decapitated anything yet!
Made an airpot this morning for # 2 when the tap root shows up. Probably around 7 gallons, with window screen glued on. Right now the sprout is sitting in the peat in the sun with its slightly older sibling. I have to keep watering it!
It's filled with soil and quivering with anticipation of the planting

I cant take any credit for that design. @flytier did his tall air pots with vertical cuts up the side and @Peeece did 5 gallon buckets with big holes and screening as well. @EastCoastGhost did a bunch of small holes for his fun-friendly-but-still-serious-outdoor-guerrilla-grow-show but I don't think he used screening. I used tweezers to pull her cap off and she slid out of the rooter. I got the cap off and stuffed her back in.
