That one does look real good, and I also saw an old strain from long time back! this was the first marijuana I smoked and that was Acapulco Gold, I just may order that for nostalgia sake.

Thanks on that suggestion.

Do you kknow what the thc content is for the A Gold ?? I never thought i'd see it again. Who's selling that ?? Thanks !!

The clones are looking better (less stressed) now! I had a bit of a fowl up with the nutes and had to start over by dumping the res tank 30 gallons, so right now I have them on plan ph'ed water for a day or 2 and will try again with far less nutrient than I started with, getting the hang of the type of system is a bear but we'll get down.

My seeds have prouted too! cool 3 roadrunner auto's 1 La Women dna not sure it's auto or not guess I'll find out here, their all fem seeds so way better than a 50/50 chance of females we'll see their to.

I'll post the clones tomorrow!

So the outer room is heating up way further than I had thought it would, the growroom is a nice 72* to 77* deepend on some small conditions but it is pretty constant so the plan is to move the res tank in the growroom, problem that acured outside the tank is hitting 79* 80* now as I understand it the EF system is a bit more forgiving than hydroponics but the outer room will go much higher and hold that way most the day an even intothe night during this summer.

I figured the secondary room would get worm but with the a/c unit blasting it's heat in to the secondary room it heats it up beyond any real controllability this time of year and I didn't plan on to maintain cooler temps in the secondary room, this is a flaw I missed when installing the A/C unit, if only I had put it on the other wall it would have been seperated from the secondary room by the front half of the garage which is a whole other seperate room with the garage door! but that still doesn't mean these conditions still wouldn't have existed in that room it is dead air if a door isn't open or fan's moving the air around which is not cooling it! and with no vent exchange for fresh air and exhust of bad air, which during the summer it's going to be worm to hot air being pumped in anyway, the grow room is the best place for the res tank being it stays in the 70*.

I don't truly know for a fact though if moving the tank in there will reduce the the res tank temp and keep them low most likely, and with evaporation the humidity should go up some also hopefully putting me right where it needs to be! but the room it touchy, by just opening the door a drop in a 1* to 2* degrees will occur it recoups fast once the door is closed, even body temp will effect the room temps also so that also mean the water will pull some of the coolness out of the room pushing up the temp maybe a little! the a/c will go on more often that's a given! an it will work a bit harder to maintain the room temp, but all in all that room is the shit I have eto say

The solution was even simpler than moving the 55 gallon res tank, I took one of my 27 gallon totes and set it up as a second tank in the grow room and moved all the tubing to that, and just pumped 25 gallons from the 55 gallon drum to the tote, transferred the pumps and air sticks "done! yippee yi yo mother f#%ker, the 55 gal tank was climbing fast and was already at 82* and climbing, so waiting became a need to get it done now! it's only been in the room for a little while so hopefully the water temperature will lower in the tank and stay down in the low 70's or mid 60's.

Here is a look at the finish result.

Plus See I'm still in the bubble action.

Temperatures seem to have been abated the Res is at 65* with a little help from me and I'm watching to see if the res will hold there for me with the room at 74*! PH 6.0 and ppm's at 530.

3 Clones down! all six are in real bad shape so I dicided to remove 3 of the worst and bring in 3 new clones! these clones seem to be in much better shape than the others when I got them! so I transfered the other 3 to the outside grow area! see if they can continue out there.

The 3 new clones are indica blue berry kush real healthy but not a lot of root yet but more than the others, I suspect that 6 feedings or more a day isn't working here! I think their being over fed in this case, and am falling back to only 3 maybe 4 feedings per day for now, the other 3 clones are stunted an don't look to much better, and I may transplant those to the outdoor grow area and replace with 3 new clones or the 2 auto flower roadrunner/lowryders that have just sprouted and the LA Women DNA that has finally poped it's seed shell and is on her way up to a big girl these where all fem'd seeds so we''ll see.

I hope to get the hang of this system because it is proving to be a bit more harder than everyone wants to let on, never had an once of this type of difficulty in my bubble buckets and frankly the clones would be 18" by now and in 12/12, but 6 buckets and keeping the water in cool in each one an 6 buckets to have to change out every 10 days I don't care for, so I have to get the hang of this system or move on to something that works for me, I thought about changing out the buckets to an ebb tray instead , but worrying about that right now..

Look I am not one to give up here and will continue on for now! and hopefully find my balance here soon enough

Don't give up Doctor! You got the res temps figured out now, sounds like the nute issue caused you problems. Could it be because you have different strains using the same res nutes? And different strains like different levels of nutes? I don't know, but I have confidence you will figure it out.

I believe it's the botanicare CNS17 that I am using compared to GH it is weak in minerals and nutrients looking the label, so this next Res change out I am switching back to GH Flora products which compared is higher in minerals an some others nutrients that botanicare doesn't have or is lacking, unless you buy more of their additives! so back to GH I go.

I will say this! in bubble buckets I truelly think I would be in 12/12 with 18" clones that would be bushy as hell right now! but this is where I am at! I'll get it down and be growing some super plants soon enough! it's just a learning cuve I ran in too! we'll "Sally forth" my friend!

On a side note! Idid just insolate the walls on the grow room in advance of the hot summer to come, looking good and coolest room in the house.

Hey, I hear you bro, getting the new set up running isn't always as easy at it looks! You'll get it together, it's just frustrating at first.

I had the STG spaced with hydroton in the 2nd bucket for air! then I had made some pvc spacers to replace the hydroton that I placed in the flood bucket and forgot to take the hydroton out of the 2nd bucket.

So I removed both hydroton and pvc spacers and just left the stg with the plants in that! Ha yeah! I can see their getting fed much much better now, so I think that was the real problem I believe the plants just were'nt getting fed very well I'll put the spacers in when the roots grow down into the stg, I also went back to GH flora nova series.

Redirection I needed to go! I found that the STG holds to much water unlike hydroton, this had an adverse affect on my clones in over feeding them, even with one feeding you may have to wait for 2 days between feedings again this defeats the purpose of the controller bucket completely, so I switched the STG buckets to buckets with hydroton with a once aday feeding, I wqas also told it's okay to feed 6 to 8 times a day that is fine if your plants are fully grown and not clones.

A part of the problem I have been having is being given the wrong info on EF and handling clones in this system, now I don't know if it's done unpurpose or if! the head is inserted up ass, Sorry about his but it had to be said.

There are only a small handfull of people I trust on this site for good growing info.
