Thanks man! That means a lot coming from you sir!

So, I just got this... I am 1 of 100 growers selected to test Ogreberry an F4 autoflower from Twenty20 Mendocino. These guys put out solid genetics and have been growing in Cali for 20 years or more. Seeds are supposed to ship this week. Just in time for me to get one going immediately! Looking forward to it!

In the tall 3x3 everyone is chugging along mostly. Witch Doctor (back left) looks like she's running out of nutrients, so I sprinkled on a dose of Geoflora Bloom.

Hey, Dee!

Sorry to be posting a question from so far back, but I can't pass up this opportunity! How long did the Grow Dots sustain the Witch Doctor before you decided to add the GF Bloom?

I'm about to try Grow Dots and will also add GF Bloom when needed. However, I'd like to add the Bloom about 2 weeks before the need arises or as close two weeks before as possible.

Damn you grow some mean flower! And where did you find those strains? Ha! Love the names!

NTH
I spend a lot of time on reddit. New shit always seems to be found there...

Adding the GF was a guess. I knew something was wrong and thought the dots might have run out. I believe the actual problem was light being too close for this particular plant. The GF didn't hurt, but I don't think that was the problem. Once I got a good light meter and lowered the light intensity Witch Dr perked up. So, what I'm saying is, it will be strain dependent. I didn't use a time schedule, I just used the GF when the plant looked stressed... Did that answer your question? Basically, I'm lovin' the dots.

Thanks for the reply DeeBoy. But no, it did not answer my question.

Let me ask it another way. How old was the Witch Doctor (in weeks or days) when you added the GF Bloom? :Rasta:

It was day 43 from sprout, but I only did it once and none of the other 7 plants needed anything but the dots and Recharge.

Thanks, Dee. I'm just nosey! :)

I will let my plants ride on the Dots until the end if possible. How often did you dose with the Recharge? Does the Dot's package provide a recommendation for that? (Or I guess I could just wait and see when mine arrives.)

Sorry about all the questions but, hey, this is 420! What do you expect?:laughtwo:

Not a problem, ask me anything... Recharge is generally used every 7-10 days. 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. 4oz for veg plants 8oz for flowering plants. I was doing it twice weekly, but after listening to the mfgs recommendation I realized that was just wasteful. Now every Saturday is Recharge day & that's about all I have to remember... If you are the president of the lazy growers club, can I be the vice president?

Once a week, huh? Cool. I'll keep that in mind.

I'm not the president of the club. Some guy out here that's even lazier than me laid claim to that title. I won't mention him by name, but he used to be on here a lot and now hardly ever is. But I digress.

The club doesn't hold formal elections for it's office holders. They tried it once but as it turns out, all of the members were too lazy to even cast a vote.

Then I would nominate you for the position of temporary Grand Poobah of the lazy growers club, but I'm sure everyone is too lazy to 2nd the motion...

That is a beautiful plant!

Orange biscuit is the best name ever btw.
She's getting chopped on Saturday! It will make room for the new Ogreberry strain!
