I gotta say, I dropped the Stankberry sample off at the Harvest Cup drop off point and when I gave them the sample they were extremely impressed with the appearance and smell. The girl from the lab couldn't believe how crystally (is that a word? well it is for a stoner like Stank) it was. Those buds were so coated with crystals and so freaking solid.
We will have the lab results back on it in a week or two. Samples will go out to the judges along with the lab results and then the judges will start smoking them all over the time before the results are announced. When its time to turn in the results, the judges submit their sheets and take turns discussing their favorites and why they liked them (in appearance, smells, highs, potency). No strain names are known, only the #of the entry (something like #00175). After they talk about them, they take turns sampling the judges favs. Aside from that, I guess the winner should be determined based off the score sheets and hopefully have no influence backing the money entries. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if there was some influence in the judging, its the norm it seems anymore.
