The Secret Auto Garden

Double Wow!

Just got done going through your journal I am very impressed with the autoflower I never thought they would turn out that large with out being able to lengthen the veg time VERY VERY IMPRESSED,
Also the CFls doing the work there good job with them I am just trying to pick out some lights for my mothers now and I think you just made up my mind.

Happy Ripping.

Thanks guys your so kind :battingeyelashes::hugs:

Hi herbingrower :welcome: and :thanks:for taking the time to read through the journel autoflowers really are quite amazing and no two plants are the same each one is an individual :passitleft: as with lighting cfl is deffinately the best vegetative light imo ive even veged a plant under a 22w standard fluorescent tube :) but there deffinately not the best at flowering although I cant complain ive had amazing bud off my cfl RoorRip

Looking great Scottish, and congratulations on your harvest.

Hey there cal :passitleft: hows things? Realised this morning it was a premature harvestation I thought all plants where 12weeks on monday so chopped her as she was supposed to be first done it was annoying me 12weeks and no smoke but looking up the callender there 12weeks tomorrow so are infact not as slow as I thought quick peak at all the sweet cheese plants last night and there all beggining to finish up im thinkin to move vegging plants into the loft space with just a 125w cfl for 3days while the tent get blacked out but the odours worrying its always stronger in the dark cold than when lights are on :bong:

Hey there buddy the garden is doing grand well all the adults my baby sba froze and stopped growing for some reason so I brought her into natural sunlight to see if she will grow she my first plant not wanted to grow :passitleft:

:high-five: perfect time for a good bonfire the ash going in your soil mix or storing for a top dress in flower?

I need to do some arbatory work (chop some trees) in my garden to burn ready for flowering these bagseed im well jealous :bong:

I read that soil from a woodland area has millions of beneficial bacterias minerals etc for plants has anyone else got any info on this? Think im going to give it a try anyway :)

Ok guys sweet afghani dried too 28g so just got my ounce from her and then whats left on stump so not to shabby and she is curing so far openin the jar she stinks of aniseed :s

And got a move on the horizon so may have 1grow and then I will be seeing where I move and what growspace I have to work with so may need to take a few months break from here bur when im back itll be to show how I set up and grow perpetual I hope RoorRip

nice harvert man :goodjob: was compairing ur last grow and this one, with the led and u can see the plants and that bit bigger and wider :D im guessing its the led working its magic with the cfls :high-five: and good thinking on the woodland soil there woods close to me surrounded in farms and theres a couple of big fires been lit there too so the ground will have ash there too :) i might get some myself somehow ( bag it up haha) and some maby closer to a farm for extra ferts :MoreNutes:

Cheers mate cant wait for the smoke :passitleft: the l.e.d has worked wonders the size and span of the otherhalfs predominantly under l.e.d wow they grow quicker and bigger I cant wait till the new board comes im having this setup too myself and building the misses her own growspace in a closet :bong: sounds great so you will get ferts microoranisms vitamins and minerals all in one :woohoo::slide::blunt: altho I wouldnt bring it straight in the house leave it sit a week or 2in a shed so any pests move on RoorRip

Cloning in vermiculite- I have used two methods one pot of vermiculite is soaked and the other I have placed in a pot of water 500ml this will gradually be absorbed by the vermiculite and I will be keeping it topped up the reason for vermiculite is too hopefully help the roots develope air roots and not just water roots the plant stem will have constant air and moisture also I have used little new growths as imo they make the best clones as they are eager to grow although it does also help to have a clone with a node so have taken one of these aswell so 4 in total too see which works best as always they are in the shade direct light kills clones as I just found the hard way I thought she was ready but not quite she wilted in 24hrs but ok enough talk lets get into the pics :passitleft:

2pots filled with vermiculite

I've blogged your pictorial for quick reference as I'll be trying it. Thanxx Scotty.

Iv never tried cloning in straight vermiculite. The vermiculite will absorb some nutes (unlike perlite) so be carful to not let them build up. Will be cool to see how this turns out! *(i run all my clones 18/6 under 2100k and it works great. usually takes 10-12 days then I remove the dome. Then another 4 or 5 days till I see root growing...) Also, I am using the Jiffy peat pellets and they really seem to have helped.:Namaste:

I have only just recently started using it I practiced on roses and geraniums first and had a very high sucess rate over my usual simple water method and have had a few weed clones I dont use any aids such as clonex or anything I like to chop and forget and come back 2weeks later and pot them on :) I just been up there all erect still and looking good :passitleft:

Had a harvest trans si and airpot cheese im going to do it in two parts

Part 1: airpot sweetcheese shes the smallest of all the plants I dont think airpots are good for autos imo due to the tap root but she weighed in at a respectable 49g wet for the little she has the cola is really dense anyway heres what you want

Now part 2 Trans siberian auto she weighed in at 96g wet so alot more than I expexcted for her compact size but I also received a surprise when chopping she was growing a seed cluster right off the centre stem that contained 3very viable looking beans I dont know what caused it but buds arent affected the seed cluster was separate im afraid I dont have pics of it in situ I pulled it off before I thought sorry guys I have a pic of the pod tho and the beans :passitleft:
