The Rooster's Multi Strain Multi Light - Indoor Outdoor Grow - Mars LED

Lol spectrum king grower claims 880 grams from 450 Watts in a 4x4 lmao no fucking way. Also no fucking pictures just chatter. Lol

Well I mean I once hit 500 grams with 87W of CFL so anything is possible... Fucking lost the camera that had the pictures of it and I never shared them on internet due to paranoia but yeah believe me bro it really happened. It was a beast it loved that LOS that miracle grow sales at Walmart. All of that in a two gallon smart pot at that. Oh and did I mention the grow area was only 1.5'x1.5'!

Hmmm. Suspicious.... I think it's do-able with 450 watts of quantum power. If you scrog and really pack the tent. Idk what the goliath runs at but it can pull 3 a tent I think!

Spectrum king is not pulling 2 pounds with 450 Watts and their lack of core coverage. It's all nonsense. Stay away from them

Don't know who they are.... Idk not too interested in any blurple lights that aren't free..... haha!

Eh I think blurple gets a lot of unnecessary hate lol. A Mars hydro 300 for example is 65-70$ around 50 cents a watt and a good growers can hit roughly 1 gram per watt with it so that 65$ investment could yield 4-5 ounces roughly 800-1200$ worth give or take. Not everyone can hit those numbers obviously and you need good genetics and to be a well rounded grower such as Loki125 for example he gets impressive yields off of cheap blurple light. Most blurple isn't 50 cents a watt though and can be closer to a couple bucks a watt which is a huge difference and not worth it over a dollar a watt QB. But these blurple that are 50 cents a watt aren't that bad of deals. Heck I bought me a Mars eco49 it was 60 something bucks for a 100w model and it's surprisingly quiet and light. All my lights can stay inches away from the plants without causing damage too which is very important in a 4 foot tall tent haha. I love my quantum boards but I also like my blurple they all have their own benefits and I think having a mix is nice. Since I'm going to take a small break after this grow I'm scratching my cuttings and flowering everything I have now so I'm going to be tossing my eco49 into my tent to increase my wattage to close to 500W. I have three small bagseeds in the tent with my 4 medium sized SQ'S The sq's are in 5 gal fabric pots and the bagseeds are in 1 gallon pots and I'm going to keep them in their pots as they aren't showing any signs of being root bound and they are mature enough to flip to determine sex and get the show on the road. When I reset up everything I'm going to do a grow review my eco49 I had to scrap my current one due to time restraints. But anyhow blurple okay if the price is modest. The eco49 was a bit more costly than the slightly higher powered 300 but it's quieter runs cooler and has a better nice square spread unlike the 300's small rectangular spread with all the diodes right next to each other plus it's a lot lighter and better material overall compared to the clunky metal on the 300. I haven't opened the eco49 yet to see all the differences.

No I couldn't agree more. And I like mars for the price! I just struggle to purchase one when I know I can build a board for under 1dollar a watt. For 100 bucks total I got 120 to 140 actual watts of QB. But I also have blurple lights, and do like the price point on the new mars units. The cob is nice too, but cobs in general are too damn expensive imho for the small amount of coverage you are getting

It's just a gigantic center hung cob. Key take away is that it's a center hung unit

Hey people are praising the Mars cob for its spread and it's ability to yield upwards of 2 grams per watt. It's also over 250$ for a 100w light too though so it's not for somebody on a budget. But yeah one center hung 450W light in a 4x4 yielding 800 grams would have to be a see it to believe it type deal as nobody wants to spend that type of money just to see if it will really hit those numbers.

I know what you mean it's over 250$ lol and it's not them being greedy it's just the cost of cobs overall.. But it's showing good results though and mars had the sense to let an exceptional growers test the unit for just the price of shipping I believe. Apparently it can hit upwards of 2 grams per watt but it's still a pretty new light and I personally haven't seen much about it. Mars should get into quantum boards lol cheaper to produce and equally impressive results compared to cob just about.

So sorry to read about the loss of your Enter key :-(

I got the 300 and I like it but it's just to supplement the outdoor grow when it moves in the shed at night or on cloudy days. I'm pretty sure it upped the recent harvest on my autos though!

By tonight's time I'll have 2 mars hydro 300's 2 QB120's and 1 mars hydro eco49 in my flowering tent so I'm hoping for a nice harvest. I didn't veg my plants out very large nor train them much because I wanted to be cautious sense I had mites my last grow. I finally washed my filter and installed it because everything was smelling like a ganja farm. Since I'll be waiting to relocate to start any more beans I'm hoping the plants fill out very nice and I get a decent yield for their sizes. I'd love 7-11 ounces in all between the bagseeds and flowering clones. Then when I set everything back up I'll scrub everything down again and install a new scrog and do more training and aim for the largest yield possible from my 4x2. I was going to call it quits and scrap everything a week back and pick back up after I move but I decided to just wait until I absolutely have to move which will be in 2 or 3 months max and hoping for no more than a month of down time. So I'll easily be able to finish my special Queens and as for the bagseeds well hopefully they will be done as well. I'm considering putting the bagseeds in 3 gallon fabric pots before they start flowering but that's only if I can make them all fit in my tent which even in the 1 gallon pots there isn't much room. It sucks ill be scrapping my SQ but I do have a handful of fem beans I bought singles of so hopefully all or atleast the majority germinate fine and I can clone them all and keep a nice mix going in the future instead of 1 strain.

hoping for some nice sized Colas this grow needing it to last for a bit lol.

Looks good dude. I would think 7 is a pretty solid number to hit in a 2x4 space. I wouldn't be surprised if your numbers jump up substantially with all the new lighting though!

Yeah yields going to really be based on those bagseeds and how many out of the 3 are female. They may not be super large but they will get a lot of direct light for a large portion of their flower life because the SQ'S will be harvested well before them.
