I dont see how potting the root cube makes a difference, as long as you keep it in a humidity dome.

It doesn't make a difference, what i was saying is by keeping it out of soil i could see the roots start to form in the starter cube.

Thanks boom, i was so worried about taking clones after reading about it, everything made it sound so hard, but honestly I've had no trouble so far.......maybe I'm just lucky!

The first clones i took a month ago looked just like yours, they aren't doomed, just baby them a bit and she'll be fine! I'd put money in it.

Im just keeping a steady routine with the ladies, trying to stay positive. Tough not too stay positive with my other 3 ladies doin what they are. I got some general hydroponics Rapid Start. I may give that a whirl tomorrow.

Hey Leo, newb question.... Is there any specific type of clone gel or does it matter? Also, can I not clone my cuttings on my autos as long as they stay on same schedule as their mother plant. TIA
