The Red Cup!

Hey all, how is everyone's solos's doing?

As I look at mine, and look at the calendar, I know there will be a few weekends where I will be gone for a few days. I think I have found a solution for little miss solo.

What y'all think? Is an IV drip still within the rules?
Booms coming with all the good ideas
My solo is still alive....for now lol

Would you recommend starting a seed in a solo cup or in a regular sized pot

We are all doin clones, but rockwool or root cubes seems pretty popular. The paper towel method is also very popular. My self im old skool, throw that bitch in the dirt and wait.

Lmao my first plant that I'm doing now I used the paper towel and this is a bag seed but it's crazy how smalll it is it sprouted on 4-20 and is only 6 inches tal

Slow, but yes there is new growth. Hydro may have an advantage.

I threw it nutes a couple days ago, way too soon. I flushed her today and mixed up a new foliar feed. 50% recommended dosage for foliar. Wanted to jump start but was a bad idea. Live and learn.

I think hydro definately has an advantage, it is growing, quickly actually, I topped it last night. It is already going through about 1/3 cup of water-nutes a day now. I have no idea how the hell I am gonna go 5 weeks in that cup though,, lol.

I think hydro will have the advantage at the start, but dirt will have the advantage at the end.

did anyone do coco?

It aint over until everybody's smokin some baby buds!!!! :tokin:

I could try a coco mix, I've still got two clones in lockdown. Problem in they're not due out for at least another week. By far the biggest clones I've taken. I'm anxious to see how they'll do. I'm not doing any transplanting until they are solid plants though. Good thing I put them into descent size containers to start.

:morenutes:

Now, on the main topic of this challenge are we all agreed that we're doing finished weight with 62% RH in the buds? So, they'd be dried and cured to 62% using Boveda packs and then weighed?
:yummy:

Seems the best way to go, fresh picked weight could be misleading and over dried buds would potentially come up light.

Your thoughts please.

Damn getting all technical and shit, does the rh in their jars really make that much of a difference in weight? I get the too dry and wet thing but you all seem experienced enough to tell when your buds are decently dry enough. I had a little trouble with my first little buds i took but now i can tell if they arent dry enough now.
