I wouldn't take chances. Is there any kind of damage to your car that you could tell?

Not from being parked 2 blocks away!I wouldn't take chances. Is there any kind of damage to your car that you could tell?
Oof. These are crazy times.I respect the hell out of police but I keep my distance. Locally a police officer finished a 12 hr shift and went home to what she thought was her apartment. Her key didn't work, when the resident living there opened the door she shot and killed him.. She was arrested for manslaughter but bonded out. Things are on edge.
When in doubt.....lawyer it out brother! Its a crazy world out there!Might need them. The police called today and said my daughter hit some kid on a bicycle back in August (no injuries - misdemeanor hit and run) a few blocks from my house. Problem is they got the make and model of car wrong (but my license plate) and my daughter can't drive a stick. Now the cops want me to bring in my car for inspection. I'm thinking of lawyering up.
