The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Good morning everyone.

I rode to the airport with Canna and Nis, so I'm here until 3:35. You may see me around for a while. I have hours to kill.

I'll take a moment here to encourage a continuation of your joyful journey. I'm floating on three 5:1 DDA caps. :cheesygrinsmiley: Yes, it feels joyful to the extreme. :laughtwo: It's a long day ahead. Thank goodness there's Carnival at the end of the trail. All these sativas that didn't quite get me there this week......... SweetSue found out this week that just saying "sativa" doesn't tell the whole story.

It'll be good to hit my own bed too. :battingeyelashes:

Then there's this deep longing to see my plants...........
Depends on who's telling the story I suppose. As with all stories and grows. No matter the same strains or not, but different characters, No two are the same.
Our open community and sharing of information has let us develop the genetics even further.

I envision a camp out. Tent or fancy RVs all gather round a quiet mountain lake... perhaps with fish. Somewhere far out enough to show some nice stars. Somewhere in NoCAL or SoOR. Close enough to the beach to provide day trip action. Perhaps close to other day trip options. I'm certain we can dig up some locals with grows grouped in a travel-able arrangement. Visit a few grows... spend a day at the beach... go find some odd music one night. A fire every night for deep discussions and bowl passing.

I love the idea of camp out. Already have 2 planned this summer, but this would be a don't-miss event! Have to bring the kids though. Youngest would go around asking "what kind of cancer do you have?" They don't know it's for anything else yet.

Sorry I shared those here. I thought I was on your of topic thread.
Please feel free to edit or if I need to I will.
:passitleft: I gotta go n smoke.

If you remove them it saves the mods the trouble. :passitleft:

Drop them at the Spot Jacob. :hugs:

Taking off from Montego Bay. :slide:

I for one have never been off the East Coast....well, I drove to Chicago for a wedding once, but to tell you the truth, all I remember of the drive was how utterly flat and boring Ohio was, and nearly having my tent blown away while camping next to Lake Erie. Id love to see CO and the Rockies, OR is on my list as well....I suppose Northern CA too. A Maine meet and greet would obviously be something convienient, and should be considered regardless of the MAIN meeting :)

Too bad its not legal in S Ky or N Tenn. From Cumberland Falls ( which is the only falls outside of Africa where you can see a moonbow during the full moon each month) to The natural arches ...to Lake Cumberlands and Dale Hollows World class smallmouth, striper and trout fishing. Or the wilderness whitewater, rafting canoeing and kayaking in The Big South Fork Wildlife area. All of this combined with the people food music and hospitality the folks in this area. Heck you dont have to wait for an event. Just roll some up and head on down this way! Best of luck in all you grow!

Good Morning everyone

One of our goals as cultivators visiting Jamaica was to visit some local growers. some of us have been treated to individual visits with small growers, not unlike ourselves, without all the fancy indoor equipment and the base of knowledge we've accumulated. Yesterday we went as a group up into the hills to see a larger grow. You come here hoping to walk through fields, but we know it's February. What we found was more nursery than full-blown grow in action, but the day was an interesting exchange of ideas and another opportunity to share with another grower who knew what he's growing is the best, to share some of Doc's Lemon Paki and watch his eyes light up with surprise and appreciation.

I'll have a write-up on the trip to the grow later. I'll end this with a couple teaser shots. :battingeyelashes:

I'm going to breakfast and then on to another joy-filled day. I'm assuming you are all continuing to spread your own reserves of joy far and wide in concert with my own efforts?

Good.... there's a lot of joy to be shared. I started yesterday morning by officiating at the wedding of Nis and Canna Montana, in what I believe was the first :420: marriage. We held a simple but elegant hand binding ceremony on the beach with that luscious ocean view as the backdrop. It was an amazing experience that managed to go off without a hitch. Officiating unions of loving companions isn't something I've ever done before, but I trusted the universe to inspire me, and I believe it was exactly what was called for.

It was wonderful and spiritual and filled with joy. To be able to share that experience with so many new/old friends was humbling beyond belief. The trip just keeps getting better and better.

Those pictures I promised. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Afterwards he took us to his cousin's to show us more of what they had growing, and we had the chance to see some bigger plants further into blooming. That explains this shot. :battingeyelashes:

Looks like you had a good time. :)

Yes I did RedDragon, yes I did. You timed your first post here very well. :laughtwo: SweetSue's joyful return from a joyous vacation in a tropical paradise.

You've graced me with your first post, and I'd be remiss if I didn't offer you a hearty :welcome: to the joyful journal as well as to the overall :420: community. Are you planning a grow journal to share with us? We love new journals, especially if they have lots of pretty pictures.

Oh.... pictures. The only girls awake were the CBD Critical Cures.

I have to wait until tomorrow to assess the damages. I won't try to do much more tonight other than shower and get unf****ingbelievably high on Carnival. I'll be back after that.

hmmmm.... enjoying the humorous connection to the thread title tonight....

:laughtwo: It is a joyful return. Lol! My bed will feel so welcoming tonight. Tomorrow brings laundry and harvest. I may wait until Sunday for a proper update.

Back to the business of divesting myself of all these possessions I don't want to haul around with me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'M HOME!!!! :yahoo:
