I let them cool and there was a bunch of water from the buds did I let it set to long??
Smoke,
I fear you read a post of mine. I tried to do what you are attempting. If you are still working with it, turn your oven down to about 200 and place what you have on paper plates or whatever back in it for a few minutes then turn off the oven and leave it until cool.
When I tried the bag with wet material I had to stand the bag up and role the sides down several times during about a three hour dry/decarb for about ten minutes to let the water to disipate. I was not happy with it, dark brown shriveled buds. It looked a lot like a lot of Mexican product that was cumming up from Mexico until a few years ago. It did have a kick though.
If you decide to give another try, start with a 220 or so oven for about 15 minutes. Then turn it down to about 190 until they shrink down some and the outside of the buds feel dry.
If you are going to smoke it, turn off the oven and let it cool. If you want to make brownies then, place it an oven bag and turn your oven up to 230 for around an hour and a half. keep an eye on moisture.
My apologies for not making a followup post. It was on a list of things to do.
I never know
