The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I could imagine it Weaselcracker. I could also hear the silence that comes with it.

The cannabinoids are structured with attached carbon molecules. THCA for example, on its own, is powerful medication for the healing of many circumstances, much of which we're just beginning to discover. But it won't get you high and it won't kill cancer cells the way we need it to. The same applies for CBDA. It may have medicinal value that's just being discovered, but it's metabolized component, CBD, is IMO, the most versitle cannabinoid available in the mix, and it requires metabolization as well.

In order for THCA, the naturally occurring acid cannabinoid, to become metabolized so that it can work as the medicine we desire or the buzz we're seeking you have to release those carbon atoms. That process is called decarboxylation, and you achieve it by either heating the cannabis or allowing it to cure for an extended period of time. The most common practice of cannabis consumers is to bake the plant material in the oven under controlled conditions. I use 245 degrees F.

Most will do this for 30 minutes to an hour. The time and temperature will determine which cannabinoids will be metabolized, and in what quantity. What I realized by accident was that if I decarb for 90 minutes the THC was much more powerful than anyone anticipated.

Did you understand that Fiona? I can try again if I missed the mark.

Ohhhhh thankyou yes that was a perfect explanation thankyou very much :cheertwo:

buzz update

I'm shocked that I'm still this high after being up for four hours, moving pretty much non-stop. That last half brownie was over 19 hours ago and only contained the equivalent of half a gram of potentiated cannabis. I'm still high enough that I don't feel the need for my breakfast brownie.

This is going to not only stretch my harvests, but it gets me to the point I've been seeking for the past two years. The way I feel right now, clear-headed, capable, confident, blissfully happy and seeing the world loaded with potential waiting for me to take notice, is the way I choose to feel on a regular basis, only with this cannabis I don't have to work at it. Not even a little bit. My brain shifts right back to grateful.

This is life as its meant to be. This is the healthy human brain running at full speed. A healthy woman's brain, proven by science to run more functions at rest than a man's brain working at full tilt. This is how I'll do my best to feel, with the help of cannabis, for the rest of my life.

Can you source this for me....the meter to my bs filter just pegged.

Kneeling on the floor drenching Carn2, and admiring her splendor.

She struggled with unhappy soil, but she's come through for me with enough. There's always more than enough in my world.

I'm sure I can push her to one more watering in about five days. If not, at least I got this one in.

:laughtwo: A little added, giggly Joy....... I looked down to discover my legs have shrunk to normal size. Those thighs used to be twice as wide. No exaggeration. :slide:

Almost time for that half brownie dose, but more out of desire to shoot back into space than anything else. Lol!

Can you source this for me....the meter to my bs filter just pegged.

I'll start you off with this Jim. It describes the many distinct differences between the brain function of men and women. Read between the lines and you see the truth to my statement. It's basic evolution in my mind. Women give birth and it's our biological function to keep the young alive to perpetuate the species.

I'll keep looking for that documentation.

Ten Big Differences Between Mens' and Womens' Brains

People don't realize the power of manifestation. A few months ago I told Stage I would try talking about something and see the response I get. Wasn't much of a response but to me its an integral part of my growing technique and I feel is very important to getting my plants to give me their best. I will stand or sit at the end of my grow so that I can reach my arms out and basically put my arms at both ends. (It's only in perspective. I don't actually have 12 foot arms lol.). Then I have this meditation that I do. I imagine a beam of light enters the top of my head and flows through my body and through my feet to the center of the universe. I am impaled by pure light, anchoring me to the ground and sky. When I breath in it goes through me and also out my outstretched palms. It bathes the whole grow in healing light. Then when I exhale I imagine gray energy getting sucked into my hands from the plants, removing negativity and ill health. It comes back all the way to my spine where the light pushes it back up my spine and sends it back to the universe. I sit there and repeat and can see the energy waves moving back and forth. Though seeing them isn't the important part. With each inhale the plants are bathed and filled with white light, with every exhale they are cleared of bad energy. Then I begin to ask the plants for what I want, "do your very best for me girls, bring me some colors, bring me the most potent, tasty, beautiful buds you can. Bring me trichomes, more than you have ever thought of before." In my mind I can see them swell right before my eyes. In my mind I erase the previous future they have and replace it with a new one that they didn't know they could achieve.

I thoroughly believe that plants, like all living things, respond to the negative and positive energy around them. It's why we start our tinctures at the new moon, so that as the moon brightens, more of the healing compounds are drawn out of the herbs. It's part of the reason why we growers spend so much time in the grow room among our ladies. It's why we humans are naturally drawn to the outdoors, among trees and plants, where we feel the stresses of city living melt away.

I could go on, but you get my meaning. :circle-of-love:

This one is great fun, but it made me feel sad that so many women find their man's immature behavior as an irritant. I admit, I told Dale a time or two to "act your age" but I was usually laughing when I said it. :laughtwo:

Let's not think, as this article states, of these expressions from men as "shortcomings." :battingeyelashes:

Mens' brains mature 11 years later than womens'.

Since creams made with cannibus relieve pain, Sue, you are most likely absorbing it through your fingers, as you tend your ladies. So you are absorbing more than you know, keeping your levels up. Something to remember when figuring your intake.

Come to think of it, this may be why I don't get high off my CCO or my capsules. I handle my plants several times a day, bare handed. I've built up a tolerance. That's OK, however. I don't like to get high and I don't smoke. Just ingest it for the healing properties.

Carn1:1 and 1:2 have infested the flower tent with mites.

Oh Joy. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm gonna start with a good shower and blast them off the leaves. This time I simply smiled and removed them from the tent for attention. Ahhhh...... the joys of cultivating cannabis. Learn from this my friends. Control your environment better than I do. This is my goal for 2017, to get my growing environments under control. I'm a headstrong woman to the extreme. I'll get there.

I hadn't considered that AKgramma. I don't handle them all that much, but that's a distinct possibility when I do. In my case it's that I consume more than the average 63-yr old woman who loves this feeling of clarity that comes with the buzz. I can function without, but I'm diminished from what I am when I hit the sweet spot.

Read somewer that mangos lower your intolerance to cannabis hehe cant hurt to try :Namaste:

Eating mango within 45 minutes of ingesting helps the body demethylate the receptors. Those receptors, meant to be accessible for the cannabinoids, can get cluttered wit methyl groups. Mango contains a component that clears those attachment points. This is why you get higher when you consume mango beforehand. It's a recommend part of increasing bioavailability.

Oh my word wer do u store all this knowledge?!?! Wonder if weed helps u use more of ur brain too! (Wonder what sweet sue has to learn me now) hehehe

I'm gonna try a different approach with these. I've noticed that all the sprays and drenches never rid you of the Borg. The trick appears to be completely clean everything out and start again, or learn to control the numbers.

I'm taking the second approach. These plants are in small enough pots (thank goodness) that I can pull them out every two days and hit the leaves from underneath with a monsoon, without drowning the soil. Do that often enough and I knock the numbers down to manageable.

Let's see how this cohabitation with the tiny earthlings just trying to live out their own lifespans goes.

I'm an educator, by nature and training.

The endocannabinoid system is responsible for the clear signalling that keeps all of your other body systems in balance - homeostasis. The cannabinoids in cannabis mirror perfectly the function of the endocannabinoids your system makes. Most of us have some deficiency of the ECS. We live in a world filled with opportunities for stress, and stress diminishes the capacity of the ECS to function efficiently.

There are more CB1 receptors - the ones that THC attach to - in the human brain than all the other receptors in the body, combined. So yes, cannabis will make you smarter by helping your brain work more efficiently.

Consider that Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, the discoverer of this magnificent system, has postulated that the ECS determines your personality. His research has led him to believe that imbalance in the ECS creates psychosis and mental illness. Makes you glad you indulge, doesn't it? It explains why many of us seem to have the same personality traits of optimism and humor.

I generally wipe the underside of the leaves with a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water soaked into a napkin for smaller plants. I believe when you spray them off the borg does not die. I like to confirm the kill on the ones I do see .

"carpe diem"

I can't keep my hands OFF my ladies! Daily I run my fingers through their foliage to dislodge dying leaves, then run my fingers through the leaves as I drench them with the mite sprays. Moving the leaves around like this gets the spray in every nook and cranny.

I'm sensitive to the neem oil, so I have to wash my hands well after treating them, or I get welts and itchy skin.

I also rub a leaf here and there to test what scents they are producing. I'm trying to narrow down what strain my Mystery Sativas are. it's mostly a process of elimination. They don't smell like diesel or lemon, so have to test the scents as they manifest at each phase of growth.

I've just reached the point where I'm beginning to notice the nuances. I have years ahead to learn the craft, and admitting that makes my soul smile. :cheesygrinsmiley: :green_heart:

I have a bottle of 50/50 ISO. That's what I'll be doing before they return to the tent. Brownie first (haven't gotten there yet :laughtwo: ) and then swab the leaves before they return to their home.

Two things! First off hows Emerald doing seems like its been awhile since you took a picture of her hope you didn't kill her off (forgive me if im just blind and missed her lol), Secondly is it possible im immune to eating cannabis? I ask because I can't seem to get an effect off of it in that manner, example i made some firecrackers (lazy version of edibles) and the wife got super blitzed from very little (understandable since she doesn't consume cannabis much) but i put wayyyy more cannabis on mine and was super disappointed due to no effect and ended up feeling like i wasted the bud and should have smoked it instead lol Wasn't my first failed edible attempt. Just curious and seemed like you would be the one to ask.

lexort, what not try overly decarbing the bud and then using that to make the firecrackers? I know of one other person who doesn't get any effect from edibles, but I never had enough time with him to work through it before he fell off the edge of the earth. *sigh*. Now I'll forever wonder if he's still alive.

With firecrackers you wouldn't be incorporating the liquid sunflower lecithin. That's a tremendous part of the increased potency of my brownies. Try overly decarbed bud in some brownies using the lecithin. See how that goes for you.

Just for you lexort. I'll be flipping her in about a week.
