The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Before I shoot into the stratosphere for the afternoon, let me get the update in.

Still in a lull around here.

image13937.jpeg

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 8) I almost FIMed her this morning. Don't know what prompted that, but I held off. Think I'll wait for the next node, if I do that with this one at all. I wasn't happy with only 18 grams last time, even if it does go far, so I'll be doing at least a topping. A FIM is my inclination here though. Just an instinctive feel.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 6) I'm not happy with the lanky growth.

That's better. That should do it for these two. Next seeds I pop will be under CFLs. Next week I drop that seed for the first of the hempy buckets. :slide:

Short and sweet today folks. Now I'm ready to jump back into the insomnia information. I'll be taking frequent breaks for companionship and laughter. You all bring such joy into my life. :laughtwo: Now, go forth and spread that joy far and wide.

Don't forget - next week on the 4th Shiggity has a smokeathon scheduled. :party: :yahoo: :slide: :party:

Have a wonderful Sunday. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

It's so damned frustrating when the gallery goes down. One has no idea when the problems will be sorted out and we're so damned spoiled it's not funny. :laughtwo: Having a post all ready to go with only the illustration to attach and having no way to load that image into the gallery makes SweetSue feel not so sweet. :straightface:

I guess the post goes into a holding pattern until things work their way through. Anyone know how long the gallery hasn't been loading?

Wanted to Thank You for all the knowlege and making this journal. It's helping me find what I need to help my wife. I haven't read the whole journal as of yet but a good part. What I have read has sent me in other directions for questions I have. Your kindness and positive spirit just leap off your words. Thanks for letting me tag along :goodluck:

Well Rooster, you broke my moment of frustration like a charm. Thank you for that. :battingeyelashes: :Love:

First off, :welcome: to my joyful journal and to the :420: community at large. I'm so thankful you were able to find some answers. I'd be more than happy to help you find the rest of those answers. And thank you for the gracious compliments. In case you hadn't noticed I also maintain a study hall geared more or less to Concentrated Cannabis Oil, but we cover other things cannabis as well. There's also a thread dedicated to dosing considerations and if your wife is on any pain meds other than cannabis you should probably check out the thread on cannabis and opioids.

Using Cannabis To Reduce Or Replace Opiod Drugs

Feel free to track me down at any time and ask anything. Whatever it is your wife is challenged with I'm certain we can find her relief.

It's good to have you along for the journey. I look forward to getting to know you better. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Good morning Sue! Well, it's morning here. :)

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

I can't believe I missed this for 8 hours Noob. :thedoubletake: I'm surprised you didn't come looking for me. :laughtwo:

Good evening. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

I understand about the growth but know that it always brings me a smile to see a DDA sprout in SS's journal.

Do you have a count of how many you have run? Your happy-ness is a Joy for the world. :thumb:

:ciao:

Hello Keltic. :hugs: That brought a big smile to my face. :cheesygrinsmiley: I believe this makes 6. Remember the tiny one at Christmas? I count her too. :laughtwo:

The universe seems out of whack when I don't have a DDA growing. Lol!

I was beginning to worry you went into sugar shock from eating too many brownies. ;)

Good evening Sue

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

:rofl: I've been studying and writing like a fiend all day. I think I tried to stop somewhere around 5PM, to no avail. :laughtwo: I just finished posting the pieces in the dosing thread, so my time is my own now. :slide:

Let me start with a big, warm hug. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

How nice of you to be here just when I needed you to be. Let me stroll over to your garden and see what I've missed.

So much has changed while I was gone over the weekend. DD is up and looking good, agree a little lanky but nothing we know you can't fix.

So going a little off topic but not much just something I have to share and well this is the only place I can because no one else has a clue. I was in Amsterdam this weekend and while making my usual stop at G.house Seeds I got to meet Franco. Not sure if you have seen any of the Strain Hunter videos but if not they are pretty cool. He was a really nice guy and I think a little taken back that I even recognized who he was. For a Saturday afternoon the place was quite packed and from what I saw I was the only person to say Hi or anything and it made me a little sad. To me this plant is so much more than just getting "high" and the work he has done around the world collecting landrace genetics really amazes me. I'm so happy we have this community here where we can all share this great plant that brings us so much joy.
Happy to be back after a nice weekend and I'm just about 3 days away from chopping down my DL. My best plant to date by far can't wait to share some photos.

Sue, one last thing. Do you just buy your onions from the market and plant them or plant them from seed? I really like that idea and if the scent control is good enough would keep me from having to use my extra fan.

Now time to start our Monday off right! :passitleft:

Hey Hi. I planted mine from seed but you can plant them from market too. Mine has been growing for almost a year i think.?.
I think they help with pests and scent.
Here is mine, growing like a weed, I have chopped it back to just one stalk at a time it was getting out of control.

Thanks so much Keltic! I'll grab some seeds next time I'm at the garden store.

Good morning RheinRover :hugs: You too keltic. :hugs: :Love:

Great story share RheinRover and good for you being neighborly enough to show the man the respect he's due.

I purchase my scallions at the grocery aisle of my local supermarket, and yes, they allow me to grow in the open closet with minimal smell. I'd have to agree that they deter pests, for the most part. There's a synergistic relationship between the myco, the onion and the plant that benefits all three. You can judge the health of your myco community by the vigor of the scallion. I use two in the big pots, more as a caution than anything else.

I don't know of any studies backing this idea up, but I've never gone looking. I tried it, it worked, I'm happy. :battingeyelashes:

:ciao: Sue! Good morning! :)

:ciao: Sue! Good morning! :)

Good morning Major. I just saw your footprints over at SlowToke's stunning garden. Envy, eh? Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I'll be swinging by your place later. I'm hoping to do some catching up today, providing I don't get distracted by biology studies. :laughtwo:

:ciao:

:woohoo: I got a picture to load! :yahoo:

I love green oatmeal for breakfast. Lol!

image13970.jpeg

Is that melted cannabutter Sue???

Morning.

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Yes, indeed it is Noob. :cheesygrinsmiley: Hard to resist a dollop. I tried to resist, because by then I'd already had a brownie, but the butter in the oatmeal is too good to pass up. Flying pretty good now. :laughtwo:

Morning :hugs::hugs::hugs:
