The 'Nads Of None

Omg! Hon, are you ok? Glad you are still here.....be careful.

Your plant looks fine. They seem to stall as they are growing roots. And she has a few sets of leaves, so she's just fine. Soon she will be growing noticeably faster. A little stretchy on the stalk, but nothing major that I see. Good job so far.

Hate to hear about your heard buddy. I have to have a valve replacement at some point. Also A-fib. Hope all is well now!
Thanks Magoo. I'm sorry you are needing heart surgery... that really sucks a lot. I had a triple bypass 2 years ago, and I can tell you getting your chest ripped open is not the most enjoyable thing you can do. I had a few other problems along the way, but I'm doing pretty well for the most part.

Thank you VG, I believe I'm ok now and also glad to still be here.

That little AB is just now starting to speed up a little... she'll make me proud :)

About 15 years ago my grandfather was in horrible shape....had a valve replaced at 89 after a lifetime of smoking....made it to 104....lol.

How are you, my friend? I hope well.
How's your little bundle of joy this morning?
I'm well, thank you for asking :)
The baby is starting to grow a little faster now... giving me joy every time I look at her.

Bag Seed Girl...
43 days since hairs
25 days since pollinating one limb
feeding 1 tsp Foliage Pro and 3/4 tsp Pro-tekt per gallon as needed.

This first picture is the seeded limb. It's the only one that has these strange light green leaves poking out. Any ideas why they are that color?

The rest of the plant looks pretty normal to me...

If anyone has any ideas about what strain this might be, I would sure like to hear it.

Comments welcome.

I seem to have had another heart attack on the 6th. :( Been kinda slow to recover. I didn't tell anyone for fear they would want to put me in the hospital again.
Damn MoN! Sorry to hear about you heart attack but I would think that a hospital is exactly where you'd want to be . Not sure if you've been to Grandpa Tokin's threads but he had a bypass earlier this year and walked us all through it. Quite a journey and I'm glad you're here to tell us about it!

That baby is coming along nicely and congrats on the upcoming seeds and buds! No idea about the yellow leaves but plants do fade as they ripen so I wouldn't be too concerned. Sorry it took me this long to get here...just noticed the link in your sig .

Hi there,
you've really done some reading if this is your first grow. Wow.

I'm afraid I wouldn't dream of offering any advice, still a learner myself, but I'll follow along if a may :Namaste:
Welcome Piña, glad to have you here.

Hey Shed, I'm glad you found me... I have read Grandpa Tokin's thread all the way through, but he was already about to start rehab by the time I found it. One of my bypasses had a complete failure before I finished the first round of my rehab. It's really kind of a long story and I don't know if anyone would really be interested in it.

The seed making was mostly me just experimenting. I will try to make some fem seeds soon too.

Hey there MoN! Not really sure what up with those strange leaves. To me, I would think the hormone change on that branch would probably cause something strange to happen. I wouldn't worry about it, the rest of that lady sure looks healthy!! Great work on your first grow sir!
Thanks dajerm, I was just reading about hormone changes after pollination a couple of days ago and it never even occurred to me that might cause odd colors and such.
I'll keep an eye on it. :thumb:

If I could clone I would cut/clone/flip to sex early and not bother with the CS or ST stuff if I didn't have to.

I'm interested because I pollinated my AK-47 with Haze Xtreme male bits (no idea if it worked yet). I'm looking for clues.

I think I was seeing the seeds forming after about 1 week. As the colas have swelled, some of the seeds are getting harder to see now. I pollinated mine similar to the way you did... meaning I used a small hobby paint brush and carefully covered every hair on that limb. I did mine right before lights out, then covered the treated limb with a plastic bag and sprayed the rest of the plant with water to the point of runoff. The bag stayed in place until lights on the next morning.

My dad had a valve replacement (mechanical) at age 50 after having his original get infected 2x. He's now 79. Biggest bitch is all the blood thinners he has to take and he bruises easily and his skin is thin and breaks open at the slightest bump. I guess that's a pretty good trade off though considering he'd probably be dead otherwise.

Everything's going pretty good Piña, thanks for asking.

Here is the AB at 23 days...

I have been feeding her full strength nutes and she is really starting to catch up now.

This is the seeded bud on the bag seed girl.

Here is a picture of some of the clones and one un-sexed bag seed plant. I had to find a closet to stick these in because I ran out of room

Planted the Blueberry Bliss in some coco, so I should have her up tomorrow or the next day.

Thanks to everyone for looking...
