At this point, barely able to keep coffee and Kix down for 2 days, I'll gladly lolHope you feel better...pass the COOKIES over here!
I know I should know this already but what size are your pots again? I'm contemplating going to 7 or 8gal next grow.At this point, barely able to keep coffee and Kix down for 2 days, I'll gladly lol
But how do you like my girls today? Think they are doing just fine, my little green wonders
The time is near for new seed drops as the autos are halfway through budding and G is on her final 2 weeks with us...need to get a trich check on her, just to see where we stand going into drought. Also want to make sure I get pre and post drought trichome shots so I can share the difference..
I'll be back on the droughting thread when I have time to properly discuss anything that comes up. TK is sick with a fever since yesterday although I am on the mend, so he is still in bed and I am here with my sniffling runny nose baby also with a fever. Plus, I have to trek to Covid Walmart to go shopping whenever TK gets up...but I'll be around...short Safari update in a few then I'll be on the droughting page most of the day...no light set up today for the veg tent, maybe a light breakdown on the Candy Factory journal later on...see how I am with time..
Here's to good growing this, wait what day is it? Aaah Wednesday...Happy Grow Wednesday!
It all depends on your veg cycle.I know I should know this already but what size are your pots again? I'm contemplating going to 7 or 8gal next grow.
I vegged for 60 days this run but I see other growers plants at this stage and they seem so much bigger thinking maybe it's pot size?It all depends on your veg cycle.
When your current run ends check the pots. If your roots have fully filled the space and look a bit bound you could go a bigger pot.
You don't need a 7-8 gallon, 25 litre pot if your only doing 4-5 week veg.
I personally ended up in 10 gallon pots this time haha. Was told they where 7 gallon cloth pots. But because they where cloth pots they fit alot more medium lol. I do a long veg though, like 9-10 week.
So it's all depending on your strategy and techniques your going to use.
Are you topping? LST, HST? Lollipopping? Netting? Sea of green with loads of plants. These are a few.
Happy to give advice. Dunno your style of grow. I do larger single plant runs where as krissi does large multiple plant strain runs and has to move for light. I dunno if krissi fancies moving 10 gallon of medium and a huge plant between tents. I'm guessing she's using 6 gallon ISH (correct me if I'm way off krissi haha)
I'll take a look now buddy. See if I can adviseI vegged for 60 days this run but I see other growers plants at this stage and they seem so much bigger thinking maybe it's pot size?
I generally go 5-gal or 10-gal fabric bags. Although there are some varieties like White Widow that give better yields in 1-gal pots or bags (on a plant/gal basis). You have to manage that many more pots, but it is the best yield I guess.I know I should know this already but what size are your pots again? I'm contemplating going to 7 or 8gal next grow.
My photos go to 5 my autos stay in 3...I've thought about 8s for my photos, haven't needed it yetI know I should know this already but what size are your pots again? I'm contemplating going to 7 or 8gal next grow.

ish...5...so close...actually have more soil coming tomorrow cause I didn't quite have enough to top off Onyx and Ammy Jr the other day..roots were deep in Onyx and Gigi..Gigi luckily w flip to flower will stop thrle roots and focus on her shoots or else I would have to move her to an 8...still may just cause of her sheer height...already at 31 inches this morning I'm expecting betwren 60 and 65I'm guessing she's using 6 gallon ISH (correct me if I'm way off krissi haha)
I veg for 8 weeks. G was 8 wks 5 days to be exactI vegged for 60 days this run but I see other growers plants at this stage and they seem so much bigger thinking maybe it's pot size?
how nice of you MoonI'll take a look now buddy. See if I can advise
I love fabric also but I love my self feeds even moreI generally go 5-gal or 10-gal fabric bags. Although there are some varieties like White Widow that give better yields in 1-gal pots or bags (on a plant/gal basis). You have to manage that many more pots, but it is the best yield I guess.
I'm giving baby a bath sitting on the floor basically laying lol I'm able to multitask...plus I got to go move the girls in an hour or so...have to get some coffee and aleve in meOhh so close hehe. Didn't want to assume too much but I know you're feeling under the weather and so is the rest of the household so wasn't sure if you'd be on hope you feel better soon! X
I need to order more hearts I'm running low using them on all your posts.Afternoon shift!!!
With the set up of the new light in the veg tent, we were able to run Vanilla under the existing 150W and have the other vegging girls under the 300W. This allowed, what doesn't seem like much, more space in the flower tent for our growing girls.
Believe me...it's a big difference even though we still look packed in tight here!
With that said, the SAFARI journal is now closed and the AMAZON, GORILLA, AND CANDY journals both start and continue!!
I feel that way on here all the time looking at these grows....we need 420 support. Hope @Paul Squiggle is doing better btw...I'm need to order more hearts I'm running low using them on all your posts.
Beautiful.
Stay safe
