Gee thanks brother. I am the lucky one being given a green thumb. I guess they're a little lucky, too! You're selling yourself short, your green thumbs do all the work and your lucky plants just soak it all up.
I've done it...I'll do it again....Doh!
I'd say it's 5-7 hanging, 2 weeks of burping, and then a minimum of 3 weeks of curing. You need to burp to allow the chlorophyll to burn off with fresh oxygen replaced daily. You don't want to start curing until most of the chorophyll is already gone.Good stuff! I am bookmarking this page and coming back. Question: So the drying takes 5 days and the curing an additional 3 weeks?
Thank you! They are certainly doing their thing. I'm grateful. Jasmine starts a drought tomorrow. I can just see her over the next week. Probably should have started sooner, I underestimated the sheer power of this light on them. I'll start sooner with Bubs. I'm grateful they reciprocate the loveCaught up and wiping up nearly a week's worth of

No one samples my buds sooner than 6 weeks from harvest.
The trim hand of excellence!Hi guys!!! I'll be catching up on comments soon, late start to my morning but I did grab you some bouquet bulk shots of Sophia and a nice bud shot or 2....be back in a little while, breakfast for the baby!
@Mars Hydro @Prescription Blend, another good advert for your amazing products! The density of these buds and their trichomes speak for themselves!
Thanks Charlie!! 8 hours of fun not in the sun lolThe trim hand of excellence!
Well, she's a NYC Diesel but, this I know. I fried her. She's like that from her heat stroke. The only one of 7 to not come back..but she's still alive..somehow..some wayLimelight strain - Seedlings like well aerated soils = lots of perlite and less saturation.
When you talk about "trim jail" I completely know what you mean...so isolating and repetitive. Thanks Charlie!! 8 hours of fun not in the sun lol

I like it cause I'm in a zone but you know, doing it alone for x amount of hours kinda stinks...when I have a trim friend it is just fun all the way throughWhen you talk about "trim jail" I completely know what you mean...so isolating and repetitive.
It can be very meditative and a thoughtful time if something is on your mind or you just need a break in the fast pace of life.I like it cause I'm in a zone but you know, doing it alone for x amount of hours kinda stinks...when I have a trim friend it is just fun all the way through
I escape to my garden and my trim zone often for those purposes, CharlieIt can be very meditative and a thoughtful time if something is on your mind or you just need a break in the fast pace of life.
Looking forward to your droughting lessons - I'm all in. It will certainly cause me "mass hysteria" since I will have to watch me poor, poor 420 suffer soooo...but for the greater good. Thanks for your dedication, Krissi!I am very honored to let you guys know that I will be providing in depth droughting information for the masses soon. A process proven to increase the medicinal benefits of your cannabis by tantalizing numbers.
It is a practice that I have been learning from @Maritimer and been working with to the best of my ability on my current and last grows. I had great successes since and including Ammy, using this process.
My hope is to familiarize as many people as I can with the science behind it while using my personal experiences to make this concept more user friendly and approachable. I will do my best to integrate a friendly and inviting education on the topic. I will be utilizing all of the scientific jargon and verbiage yet keeping it simple enough to not scare people off from from idea.
In addition, by adding progressional photos that provide tangible and visible results, we will indubitably provide a mass hysteria for the entire droughting process/concept-hopefully boarding many others on the droughting ship.
I am looking very much forward to receiving, processing, and formulating the information that will be provided to me in a concise yet powerful manner; delivering it to you and all of this community with hopes of its use and further education by our current and more importantly, future members.
Back to the remaining girls in the tent
Some bud shots tonight for your viewing pleasure my friends!!
G-13/Blueberry/Bubblegum, respectively...
(G, Jasmine, Bubs)
G is gaining bud sites left and right. She is full and loving her life in the Amazon
Bubs is getting her Bubblegum coloring which is very exciting and Blueberry's leaves are starting to turn colors, also. Such beautiful hues from the two of these ladies
Enjoy your evening/afternoon/day!
I'll check back with more loving tomorrow
for dropping by!
I was offered the opportunity and I couldn't turn that down, others need to know! Everyone needs to know! Let me tell ya Charlie, it killed me to see the yellowing... the nutrient craving... the drooping. I'm tolerant of it now because I know just how much higher quality my buds will be in the end. For my medicinal needs alone, I am willing to go above and beyond my comfort zone to achieve a natural remedy. From my depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis, elevated tumor markers- I can't be going from doc to doc, med to med. I hate it. I've taken myself off of everything but I feel it now...the pot helps but it could help more. Between finding the right strain and implementing scientifically proven and tested methods like this, I am confident that I will find a combination of something to accommodate my needs. I know that there are accommodations for all of us out there if we just look for it and work for it hard enough. You're motivated Charlie, especially by the science, this is gonna be your bag of chipsLooking forward to your droughting lessons - I'm all in. I think one of the best things for me is to remember to make changes as needed for MY environment. Every subtle change in parameters like different climate zones, home, and the list goes on; will affect YOUR process. I have failed a few times already with my drying and curing. I messed up a hefty amount of a couple plants this year for not drying correctly. Each harvest requires its own amount of time. At least that is the way I'm approaching it.Question: So the drying takes 5 days and the curing an additional 3 weeks?
I tried some one-way burp lids on a few jars. The concept though contradicts the typical burping method of leaving the jars open. Personally, burping tends to be a difficult task because...life. This is where being a recluse grower with only my experience gets tough to learn online.I'd say it's 5-7 hanging, 2 weeks of burping, and then a minimum of 3 weeks of curing. I have read this from you a few times and has solidified my stance on learning to be more patient. That said... I'm getting worried that either I ruined some jars OR I'm losing terpenes somewhere along the way. I have had some inconsistent burping. Consequences? No one samples my buds sooner than 6 weeks from harvest.

I did the same to GSC #9. She was stressed to the max. She is currently the loudest and most amazing terpene profile from ANYTHING I have ever grown. I have not tested her yet but probably will in a few days after her final trim. I'll get pics and try to remember to tag you when I get around to posting.because I know just how much higher quality my buds will be in the end. For my medicinal needs alone,

Recently took myself off something too. Has caused some conflict on the home front but the worst part is the pain coming back. Good vibes your way to get through this.I've taken myself off of everything but I feel it now...

I stick to routine...staying regimented in burping is essential to my smokeI tried some one-way burp lids on a few jars. Maybe just that all those gasses that should have left, didnt-affecting the quality and taste and leaving those enzymes that needed to be broken down. Can't be good to inhale that..do you have an ammonia smell at all, ever?I have read this from you a few times and has solidified my stance on learning to be more patient. That said... Yes, please 1st tag-a-roo! I was naive to think stressors wouldn't improve quality. In fact, I thought it did the opposite until came into my lifeI feel ya there 100%

Same to you, Pharma is not ruling me anymore.. I gave up on that years ago when I found myself againRecently took myself off something too. Has caused some conflict on the home front but the worst part is the pain coming back. Good vibes your way to get through this.
I have heard many good things about RSO!! In fact, someone was on here last night asking about it and I didn't know anything so I looked and looked. Found them a few older articles here, got my curiosity spiked. My chiropractor is a huge CBD and oil pusher...she even smoked her first toke a little while back....I'm in NJ, I have to look into the availability and accessibility for me...Pronto. Thank you for sharing your story with me and for the kind words, I will absolutely be researching this for my needs furtherHey @Krissi1982 I'm so sorry to hear about your medical condition.
I too have health issues.
I recently started using RSO.
It's changed my life.
A small drop a day works wonders for me.
My health and pain levels have improved drastically.
I would highly recommend it if you have access, I don't know where you are.
Here in Ontario I get it over the counter.
Just a thought.
Stay safe.
