The Mars Hydro FC4800, Prescription Blend And Weed Seeds Express 3x Sponsored Grow: The Amazon Pt I: A Flowering Paradise

Ok....so I decided to smoke some Ammy and calm down and get my creative juices flowing. Using those and my friends here at :420:, I think I found a temp fix for my issue with the breakage. After bandaiding almost everywhere and securing every cola, she stands. One branch isn't looking so hot but I taped it up good and added an orchid stick for support.

Also used some for Ammy Jr. Which was a bonus!

Thanks so much for all of the advice! I'm going to post this link to my FAQ post about it!

I had plants grow into my light at the top of my tent before. I used a SCROG Net up high to support the branches.

She doesn't have a center stalk and I am literally freaking out right now cause I tried to make it better and I made it so much worse. Idk what to do until the yo yos come...she is breaking everywhere I am afraid I'm going to kill her, tbh. She is bent at the bottom she is bent at the top where her cola bottoms are...this is a hot mess.

I have 4 atm...maybe too many but....I like what I do even though I'm about to give myself a heart attack.

Help!!!!!! S O S!!!!! I'm in trouble :nervous-guy::eek:

OK so I did the deed on Goldie. Consensus half of her went and half remains. The half that remains are looking pretty good and coming back around just fine.

Not sure if I'm more jealous of your plants or your photography.... lol. Great job on both !

Highya Krissi,

The ladies that are left look very nice in there. Those trichome pics were crazy frosty! Looks like you used some nuclear nutes! It would be a pleasure to trim those up, knowing all those trichomes. Must smell pretty righteous! Oh, BTW, love your plant supports to even out the canopy! Just no careless moves. Happy Smokin'

:ciao: So much goodness in here!

Thank you so so much!!! Always changing but always beautiful to me!
FWIW, I’m a little bit older than you (likely a LOT) so on a good grow, it’s a lot of work for me. I’ve started trimming the big gals a little at a time in the pot. I do the big fan leaves, then come back and do some smaller ones, then take a cola or four and clean them up, etc. It is possible to do it in stages between baby naps, and cleaning, and making dinner, etc. I’ve never had any help trimming so I’ve adapted to that strategy and it really does work. On the outside plants I’ve done the same thing - smoke a joint, listen to music, take a little at a time, giddy on up the next day! Hopefully that’s helpful.
It is certainly helpful, in fact, I just finished trimming Goldie and it was like cake cause I did it over a few days. Nice to have some curing already while the others dry. Kind of needed to take your advice this time with the multiple harvests I have going on right now. Gigi is the first 5 tiers of my rack and Goldie now has the bottom 2. Onyx is waiting to get trimmed, hoping I have enough room once we start drying to get buds shifted around and her in there, too!
Oh so yummy frosting. Is the name of that sugar frosting? Hahaha
I opened the tent Marcus and I was honestly surprised at just how caked she had become. That last day of drought really did her good! Thank you btw for mentioning how droughting can help better a plant on the Plant of the Month feed! I'm so happy you see it now, too!
Sorry lady Been busy with seeds and tent and crap I'll catch up soon
oh man Dust, I am so behind on EVERYONE'S journals I feel terrible. @Tkmk s plants probably thinks I've deserted them....I'll be catching up myself all day and night!!
Sounds like a good problem to me....
I pulled the rest of her today and she was a couple weeks early probably but man her pistils were crinkling and turning red and she was thick...would have been thicker but, next round, I'll use the proper technique with her lollipop self from from the start and see what she will do going to full term

Man Buds, I thought about scroggins as I like to call it but I just have so many different strains all the time and I have a tendency to want to play with them and pet them and weird shit so the netting interferes with that for me in a few different ways...Mayne one day I'll do a multi same strain grow and throw my hand in at SCROG. As for now, 9 strains as a time is what I like  keeps things interesting and challenging for me

Idk about bigger but the inadvertent HST will certainly increase resin production in those branches. I'm sure it did, I yanked the rest today and trimmed to make room for thr Bananas....

Hahahaha jealous of my phone's camera maybe, not me!! As for the plants, thank you!

Smells incredible. My bedroom smells like a fruit field right now cause she is sitting inches dark in my half bath with drying Gigi buds lol

Thank you, they've fallen a couple times-Onyx actually, just have to make sure I have everyone propped evenly.

So guys I had been trimming Goldie since a few days ago as we know. I needed room, her buds were looking pretty done, could have waited longer but I pulled her and trimmed the rest. I'll have pics of the full harvest in a few days.

Have some of her moved into curing jars, one full of big nugs and the other the larf nugs I'll probably use for butter, see how they smoke when it's time.

Here's a sneak peak, sitting fine with humidity and temp

Last pic has my Banana girls in the tent who seem to need some extra N than literally everyone else; in addition, they have been smooshed in the small tent so they need to open up, so don't mind their non perfect appearance right now. We will get them looking just as splendid as the older girls and their early flowering sisters in the other tent

That wasn't a SCROG Grow. Those plants were 6 feet tall & the branches had to be held up & off the lights. That net is about 5.5 feet high in the tent. It was for support only. There were 8 different Auto Strains in the tent & all 8 were like that. This was before I learned about LST & I just let them grow upwards.

Oops...I must have not finished my coffee yet when I read that lmao...I can think of a net then for that purpose. You don't find they get tangled? Is it easy to get it over them once they are flowered up, though? I can see that being tricky. Do I just hang it from the beginning and have them grow into it if they need or what? How does this work for you? I'm curious.

As for the phone...what kind do you have? Samsung takes the best imho

I'm going to guess the stress from the half harvest and it's reason will bring extra potency to the rest. Let's see!

I didn't have any real big issue getting the net over the plants. The net had the 4" squares. I didn't use the net till they started hitting my lights.

Right on thank you, any particular brand you like? What did you use to secure it?

I started trimming Onyx little by little from the bottom up (thanks @BooWho2 ). I'll post pics over the weekend when she is all done! I tried a little bit cause I couldn't wait and omg was I stoned. Her 27% THC was risen to God knows what during the drought. And Good Lord what a tasty and berry smelling smoke she is even pre-cure!

Limelight and Ammy Jr are looking good this evening. Shots weren't great as I had the light off in the grow room and couldn't understand why I wasn't getting clear shots....told you O was good smoke....

Ammy Jr's buds look like roses. I had almost forgotten how beautiful Ammy was...so glad I kept this lone twig and spent the time with it to create this new life. And a gorgeous life it is

But anyway, I'll be back tomorrow I'm sure with a sneak peak at Onyx.

Should only be a couple more weeks with these 2!

Have a great night and if I didn't get to your journal today I will over the next couple of days!

I wish you did, too! Man I wish we all lived in a giant greenhouse bubble!! How cool would that be?!!

Ammy was frosty so her spawn took that on, I just love the shape of these buds. I didn't veg the reveg as long so they aren't as big as Ammys were so you can really see the shape. I dig that.

Limelight followed suit of Onyx although LL is a NYC Diesel. I love her genetic line so she is going to be a great smoke and I wish I could share them both cause Ammy is that good giggly, silly bud!

The background is nicer today as my Banana girls are back on track with a little extra N

Took a few random shots for today of the remaining 2.

If anyone forgot, Ammy Jr. is a pure Amnesia and Limelight is an NYC Diesel

Have a wonderful day friends! :passitleft:
