I couldn’t bring myself to do that. The other day when moving them I accidentally hooked a nug on the light frame and broke it off. A little part deep inside of me cried a little bit.Yeah I agree that’s a nice little rig.
I completely understand the shaky hand thing, I have the same problem. To be honest, I’ve gotten to the point where I just take a ‘tester’ and use that to check the trichomes on a flat surface. Just find yourself a calyx and take all the time you need
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s!
I’ve never heard any negatives about taking samplers prior to harvest, is this bad practice? I can understand wanting to avoid stress, if that’s a factor.
Yeah I don’t really prune much. I try to keep them as nature intended if possible, although I do train and tie them down. It’s just a personal preference (or perhaps mental illness), I just don’t like cutting anything off the plants at all. I do “lollipop” sometimes, and occasionally top them too but not very often.....Wat....You mean 'prune'...right Doobs....
I get that, I like to train autos without topping or pruning.Oh there’s no problem with doing it, it’s a just mental problem I have. I don’t even like topping or defoiling them.

I thing that defoliation is a word Duggs like to save for the type of spraying we did in Vietnam with Agent Orange. He's good with prune and trim though!Yeah I don’t really prune much.
I get it, I usually only use it when talking about someone getting their sword knocked out of their hand during a fencing match.I thing that defoliation is a word Duggs like to save for the type of spraying we did in Vietnam with Agent Orange. He's good with prune and trim though!
The things I have filed in the back of my head .
Those flowers are gorgeous![update]
Got all the clones transplanted except the newest Candida I took last week. I put three of them in some left over DBHB soil. I think keeping mother plants in soil will be my new experiment. The rest are all in perlite hempy. There’s one Violet Unknown that got wind burned from the fan and only has one leaf but the rest seem great.
Timber/Mejei tent, these are doing great. When I switched to the new MegaCrop/MaxiBloom mix I wanted to start slowly and ramp up but I guess I was too high to count to two and have given them full strength. 1 Tbs each per five gallons of water, MegaCrop, MaxiBloom, and CalMag+. I don’t know yet if it will make a big difference but they look healthy and I feel better about them.
In the other tent, I’m going to cut the It’s It Punch any day now the rest will have to wait a bit. It’s got a slight bit of amber trichs now. I’ve got some people staying here the first week of July and can’t have any plants hanging when they’re here, so it’s chop now or wait three weeks.
