on a different topic has anyone ever tried their hand at oyster mushroom growing as that's caught my interest of late... and I love mushrooms I'll be honest just never thought bout growing them.....

Smeegs, now that you seem to be in the dreaded downtime arena I thought maybe you might have sometime to reflect on what your next grow outdoors will be... You know after your " long" Winter lol.... Seems that you and I prepare in alot of the same ways, like composting, soil mixtures ish, and overall prep work for next seasons spots... Just thinking myself about how I wanna start this new perpetual... Gonna start with Six clones, and six seeds I think though the issue at hand is what seeds to start.. I already have the clones picked out, just waiting for delivery in a few weeks... Thoughts on a good mix of Indica heavy first, Sativa as second ???? Maybe how many autos if you regularly grow those ??? Green days and to all

good morning mr.Hacks sir, can someone send me a get out of jail free card cause winters driving me mad.. Everything you are doing, I'm taking sly notes hahaha, this is my crash course ( winter ) befor summer kicks for good. The only indica I've got ( hopefully the postman shakes his butt ) is WW for sleeping meds, I also have seeds from a grower ( local guy ) whose been criss crossing road kill skunk with whatever the males are in his greenhouse and it's also indica.. I'm looking at other strains through the local market, auto wise I'm getting Green Crack and Gorilla Glue by Fast Buds, and the comparative autos if they make it....

Nice choice S, it will be interesting to watch the Gorilla Glue from Fast Buds, I was going to get that same strain later this year or more towards the end of our summer here in Ireland so it will be cool to see how yours get on. Hope all is well :)

Shit.... you'll have a leg-up when you grow yours... Check out the GGa group grow thread! You can see a bunch of us growing in all different styles & mediums. I'm sure there will be many successes and a few failures.. might help guide your grow when ya get em.

Ive got close on 7 months ( spring to autumn ) to grow outdoors, I'll be able to do bout 3-4 runs on autos I reckon in between photos, also aiming to try for auto seed crosses...
 
a little update and a new introduction...

So I topped Hardy last week Friday I believe, got 6 branches and I took off fan leaves as the branches are strong enough to make a go of it, I only left the bottom set of fan leaves..
