The Happy Cola Company's Official Ground Up Medical Cannabis Grow Op

Religion can really screw up peoples view of the world we will see.
No doubt about that. So much so, I'd bet our Creator is sick to death hearing about "religion". The 10 Commandments is a simple rulebook to live by without mixing man's interpretation for "acceptable" living. Just me thinking out loud.
Further, and probably more to the point IS Big Pharma. Between their money, lobbyists and crooked politics, legal bribery and a host of other unethical if not downright illegal antics, they have controlled this natural miracle drug and kept it from the masses for eons, leaving us with FAR more dangerous drugs to choose from than ANY strain of Marijuana could ever achieve to the power of 10.
Now however, Big Pharma is figuring out how to patent specific genetically modified plants. They already have, and can cause the plant to kick off an enzyme, insuring you can never gain a viable seed from that plant. Make the famer go back to them for seed each and every year. Monsanto has been doing here for years with soy and other veggies, as well as being to genetically "blueprint" their product. Once they do it in our industry, it's open season on copyright infringement the likes of the world has never seen. Accidental pollination? Could be a lawsuit brought on by a bird taking a crap or simply brought on by "the wind", and easily proven in the world of genetics. You can bet Big Pharma has a goal to remove all the small ma and pa operations and take over. The more hoops we have to jump through, the less competition they have, and they know it. GGrrrr...:thedoubletake:

Funny part of that is I've been an Oklahoma country boy my entire life. Our state has always been at least 20 years behind the times of some of these other liberal ran states. I'd have honestly thought we'd have been the most backwards state and the LAST state in the union when it came to this, yet we have some of the most lax laws in the industry. (knock on wood):passitleft:

im in the SE right there with ya brother. I was astonished to say the least when I heard Oklahoma went legal! It provides hope for the rest of us.

We're about 2.5 weeks out on beginning another harvest. The girls are looking great! We are really needing to make up for a pretty much total loss on the last crop. Most of our harvest from the last go-round is pretty much going to processing oils for edibles, so we are recovering...somewhat anyway.
Here's one that made the cut, though I've been growing this pheno for close to two years now. This is our original Jack Herer

Another one that made the cut was Gorilla Cookies. Even with all the hell these gals went through on the last grow, she still netted us a 27% thc. We have them dialed in now, and are pushing for a solid 30+% and at least a 3.0 on the terp profile.

This is also the strain that got crossed over with this lady, our new Nine Pound Hammer which looks pretty good on her own merit.

I am so impressed with these lights. I'll never go back to HPS.

Next up: Veg Room update, then beginning on the reservoir plumbing from mechanical room to upstairs. We plan on moving all mother/veg/cloning duties upstairs, and I plan on plumbing that from the mech room to the hallway. With 10 ft ceilings, I can hide the miles of plumbing with a drop down ceiling. Knowing me and my anal tendencies, I'll probably just neatly run it to the side of the wall in the hallway and pop up into the rooms. I need this feed accessible for removal/cleaning purposes, as these are carrying salts (nutes) to and from the upstairs. I'm doing this because the weight of the required water upstairs would weight more than parking my 4x4 Chevy upstairs.

We've been busy gearing up for our 2nd harvest, and have began pulling Row 1 down. This row consists of Fast Jack and 9 Pound Hammer. Here's a view of about 1/10th of Row 1, our Fast Jack. Gonna be a great crop this go-round. Not perfect....but a heckuva lot better than our first. The mere fact we survived our debut disaster on our first crop, and made it to the 2nd is reason alone for celebration

We are still nearly 3 weeks out on our Velvet Bud, but as long as I've been growing this strain, it has always been one of my favorites. The looks, smell and super smooth hit with a strong couch lock has been a favorite bedtime medication for me for a long spell. Her story continues to live on, and has became a personal favorite of more than just me. The fat, heavy, dank buds are a lot of fun to grow. :thedoubletake:

Here's a shot of some Fast Jack. These buds are so dense and packed together, and look like they have been dipped in candy! This crop is gonna be a fun harvest! We really need to start sowing what we've reaped. The bills on this operation have us all sucking air through Dixie Straws. I've not been this broke in over 40 years!:thedoubletake:

Stay tuned! Happy Times are finally upon us!

One issue we've been needing to implement, especially after a very difficult insect infestation that we are still battling somewhat. We simply must have an integrated pest management system in place. Not sure what it all entails, but we will implement a plan into our business model. I should have done this from the git go, but hindsight always seems to enter into the mix, and this is no exception. This has been a tough road for us, full of lots of potholes along the way, however we are still here and determined to make this American Dream a reality. In doing so, we hopefully have given hope to those lucky enough to live in a state where these dreams are possible, and realize you don't have to be a millionaire, you just need some tough skin.
We've certainly not achieved our goals yet... but I look forward to sharing when we finally reach our goals. Stay tuned!:ganjamon:
