The Great Outdoor Group Grow: Beastly Buds To Honor Bonsai

I've heard of people growing in trees before, makes since.
I know a couple old school guys who used to do gorrila grows like it. Find a nice sturdy tree climb up chop a couple branches off so you can get a pallet up there nice and flat. I like this hanging idea though. If the bacon squad are flying over its gonna blend right in. A big pallet in a tree is super noticeable.

Well sorry for my extended absence here friends!

We were out of town for memorial weekend then the wife had a birthday so I wasnt out to the "ranch" for 3 weeks.

I had meant to respond to some posts as I was catching up so ill put my 2 pennies in on what I remember and then update and loop back.

So yeah taproot doesnt mean much hitting the bottom. Autos flower on a timer more or less. I do believe that additional stressors can stunt and even induce flowering prematurely on an auto flower.

For example another one is "dont top autos" and I would disagree.... it's just a matter of reading the plant and only topping them if they are vigorous and all other environmental factors are dialed in.

Up potting goes the same way. Do it before they get root bound or slow at all for lack of root room and it should be gravy. Add mycos and that's that!

@Itibitiguy I sure hope you see warmer days! It's been pretty awesome so far this summer for us. So I'm sending some east for ya!

@Kingjoe83 hope your doing well man. Really excited for you and this round of autos bro. Hope you and the family are doing great.

Okay pics!

So these were all taken a week ago. I assume they're really going hard(er) now.

There are some notes in the description section.

Also I did some cuts before leaving town and have a few successful roots!

The moms were basically dead when I got home...

I managed to revive them. I'll take cuts from the PSM cross asap and then take the moms to a friends yard to bloom.

And there was one sprouted auto I forgot to take to the ranch so I figured eff it. I'm gonna let this thing go in the tub!

So all has been good. Baby dabs is due end of the next month. So I'll probably be gone more than I'm here.

Work has kept me busy and summer has been full of fishing and bbqs as it should.

Oh, also saw this awesome camper... the forgot an N in the spelling but I'll let it slide. Hope your all living your #cannadreams

Much love 420 family

Sounds like you're having a proper summer! Trees Trees Trees!!!! As far as the eye can see, I see trees!!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day Dabber!

Well it’s been almost 2 weeks since I last updated my grow, and there have been a few additions. Last time I said I was at 7 plants because I was writing off the one Gorilla Zkittlez clone. It wasn’t rooting and the bottom leaves were dying. Well, it decided 2 days later that it wanted to live and rooted itself. Still a slow grow but a new node is starting to show now and will hopefully see some good growth with a mostly sunny week ahead. Fruity Pebbles has almost doubled in size from my last posting too and is roughly 27” tall now. So I have 1 Fruity Pebbles, 4 C99, 4 Black Sugar and 2 Gorilla Zkittlez in the backyard and hopefully my neighbours are cool with it and don’t call the cops. Might actually try to get a medical marijuana card because of my moms leg and me still recovering from wrist surgery. Oh, I also had a bad thing of Potato Bugs, and you can see that one of my G.Z. clones was eaten pretty badly. So the white powder you see is natural Silica insect repellent. Seems to be working at the moment but might need to apply every once and awhile.

I think they more mean don’t top autos you don’t know how they grow , I’ve seen autos gro from almost the size of a photo on a 5 week veg and I’ve seen autos that look like clones right to 12/12 , I’ve seen some very impressive topped autos, but personally I like to just tie the top down to almos soil level once she’s 6-7 nodes high and just tie down branches when need be very low stress on the plant and then r just let Er go, saves the time of the healing from the topping . So to be safe as a general rule , don’t top an auto that you’ve never grown until you know how long they do actual “veg” for , everything looks beautiful I am excited to see how the tipped auto will turn out to be.
Plants look real healthy now , I’ve had a few times where I came home and the plant looked dead from drying out but it’s incredibke how far fast they do recover once watered ,

Cheers brotherman

Yeah I'll snap a quick on this morning. They're almost kinda back to normal lol.

And autos are tricky. Certainly not my favorite, as you can have quite the variety even among 1 pack of seeds.

Most people agree low stress training is the way to go. I just have a problem with conventionality.

Hope everyone's having a great week!
