The Girl Who Drank The Moon

When I showed @CraZysWeeD a picture of my new vaporizer, he rolled his eyes and said "So it's a metal tube that heats up herb." I can't say I blame him. At first glance, I would probably say the same thing. However, there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye.

His words prove that the sheer simplicity of the device betrays the genius hidden underneath. It looks like an ink pen, or something...

The Dynavap is what would happen, I believe, if Dyson started making vaping devices.
The construction is simple. Just 6 parts make the whole unit, 7 if you include the case. It is crafted of surgical stainless steel. 2 high quality flat O Rings hold it all together.

The genius lies in the cap of the device however.

LUN00435.JPG

The cap has an interesting slight curvature at the top that clicks when heated to the proper temperature using a heat source.
There are 2 positions to heat it from. The first one is at the middle of the cap.

LUN00440.JPG

This is the position that I use. You slowly rotate the device while heating from the middle. It takes between 10 and 20 seconds for the click. Once it is properly heated, you can take 2 to 3 puffs before it clicks a second time prompting you to reheat it. You can do this about 4 times before the cannabis is spent.

The second heating position is at the bottom of the cap.

This is the position for people who believe that vaping weed is for pussies.

At this position, the vapor will be much hotter and more intense. It's not for the faint of heart, let me tell you.

The oven has a stainless steel screen that is very durable, and should last years before having to be replaced.

The Dynavap holds a minuscule 0.125 grams of cannabis.

I have smoked a lot of cannabis in my life using all different kinds of methods. From a bent Pepsi can when I was a teenager, to joints, and the most expensive water pipes. None of them have gotten me even close to the high that I get from this. The efficiency of this device has to be in the 90 percentile range. There are double spiral grooves bored into the sides of the oven that carry heated air into the chamber to heat and carry the vapor into your lungs.

I had never vaped cannabis before so I really didn't know what to expect from this. The flavor of Dutch Passion's Blueberry has taken on a new meaning for me. Each vape changes from a tangy citrus mixed with berries, to musky and earthy, almost fermented, blueberry. It's amazing. And the high? I can say that I have never felt this good from burning cannabis. The high seems more euphoric, and it lasts like 8 hours. It feels deeper, like more of the cannabinoids are being released or something.
I'm astonished at how little cannabis this thing uses to the job done.
If you keep vaping on this thing past 3 sessions, you will be thoroughly trashed to the point of not being able to do anything but smile.

There is one con that I have with the device. But it is a subjective one. I don't like the carb hole in the middle of the device. I don't use the carb and I always found myself hunting for it to cover it with my finger before inhaling. A simple fix for me was to cover it with a nice blue piece of heat shrink tubing. I like the way it looks.

The Dynavap M is a tiny device and can be carried with you anywhere. I keep a small dab tool to scrape out the oven, A small brush to sweep away any loose herb, and the M in the carrying case.

I also use an Aomai single torch lighter with a locking ignition. You can get 5 of them for 20 bucks on Ebay, or pay 20 bucks for a single one on Amazon.

I have never used a 320 dollar Firefly 2, or a Pax 3, or any of the other expensive dry herb vaporizors on the market. And after using this, I'm sure I never will. The M is the entry level device at 59 dollars. The price goes up from there for more expensive models including the titanium made flagship, The Omni which I believe is close to 200 dollars.
No thanks. The stainless steel M is more than enough for me.

This is the recipe for success then! This time you will nail it then R!
Yes that is the recipe that Shed posted. It works great so far and all I have had to do is water them.

Now that was a perfect explanation of it. This seems like an interesting thing now. :thumb:

Would be awesome to test one out. :rollit:

The videos that Dynavap has for it are very informative. After seeing multiple positive reviews of this thing, I had to try it. The small amount of herb required has assured me that my stash will probably last me the rest of my life. LOL

Cool vape Retrix have been leery of buying one after seeing a friends Davinci crap out on him. He spent big money on that thing.

Yep, that's another thing we haven't talked about. Reliability of craftsmanship. If my single torch breaks, I have 4 more. LOL

Earth calling @RETRIX

How's the plants?

Could use your help with kodi, just got a 15 days premium with Real Debrid. But I cant get it to work... Fixed the url resolver and paired the device with their site. Don't use vpn with this connection and it still doesn't show RD links in either Exedous or Yoda... Updated everything to the latest and tried doing resets on the url resolver but nothing works. Should it be this hard getting it to work?
