The Freak's First Journal! - 5 Year Old Bag Seed - CFL/LED - 2016

I just read through your thread. Your grow setup has definitely come a long way from that little room in the basement with CFLs. I am curious about those little panels, they look like they would be great for side lighting, as long as they are not too close. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Best of luck to you.

Hey there! Thanks for coming by :). The evolution of my grow space happened so quickly I don't even know where I am any more **twilight zone music**. Haha. Whatever makes my plants happy!! Those smaller panels are awesome for the price. They're water proof and produce literally little to no heat. The light out put is incredible as well! I think they'll help the lower bud sites for sure. I can't wait to see how it turns out either! Pray for females . Pray for them lol.

Ask and you shall receive!! lol ... Here are some pictures for today. Im growing fond of the small one I fim'd lol. So bushy! and small nodes. Thick stem too! The humidifier must remain inside the tent. The humidity is 30% or lower outside and it just doesnt work well enough to bring it up. No problem though. Lots of room :)

Looks good! If you need more room or for the next vegging group you could look into a smaller cool mist, ultrasonic humidifier. I have a 2.8 liter one that can humidify my entire closet. I do have to fill it in the morning and again in the evening before bed, but it only takes up a little more space than a 3L soda bottle. Just tossing that out there in case you're wanting to spend more money. :laughtwo:

Hey Fuzz! That sounds good actually, I'll have to look in to that soon! I always want to spend more money haha it's just a question of is it there to spend! :):) haha. Humidity is so low in my neck of the woods it's crazy.

if your looking to spend money.. Amazon search led grow glasses

the cheaper ones work well but the method 7 are the best. they allow better photos and your eyes will be able to see the plants in real color

I bought a pair of these LED glasses. I never wear them. Ever. The glasses work okay, but I personally still don't feel the color is entirely true and with them on I worry I may miss something. I always turn my LEDs off for a few minutes anyway each morning to get pictures so I just check my plants then under a normal white bulb I have hanging in each closet. If I ever need an extra pair of hands though and have the LED lights on, my husband insists on wearing them. He finds the light too harsh on his eyes otherwise.

No I got the Apollo ones. Even with the more expensive glasses, you don't find the color to be darker than it is under white light? No offense, with all the slight variances in LED light spectrums, I still find it hard to believe the glasses show entirely true color. Though I do acknowledge they're very useful to protect sensitive eyes.

Ive seen your pics and comparison between the cheap ones and the good ones. After seeing that, theyre one of the things on my list to get. I want to give them a try and maybe get a bit better pictures with closer to true color. My eyes arent really bothered by the light to be honest.

I want to see comparison pics! Where, pray tell, may I find these?

I do not, however, want to be convinced to buy them. I can't. I need another LED light. :laughtwo:
