haha! no no .. not of the MarsHydro300 ........yet lol. I meant when I ordered the two smaller ones Im running now. I think Ill make a post in the lighting section to get some feed back. Thanks for coming by Fuzz!! Im looking forward to seeing all that led powa in your set up(s) :)
 
So it begins lol. Ive just ordered the MarsHydro 300w. I do think my plants will enjoy all this LED very much indeed. Ill have to decide when I get it (looks like a couple weeks). How I want to arrange everything as far as the lights go. Im thinking Mars in the middle and the two others outside of it slightly angled in. Im also thinking Im going to introduce that light when I switch to 12/12 (also in a couple weeks). So things should work out very well. All guess work right now though haha. Im super excited! More LED :) :) :) :)

wait.. what? =( .. not frowns on you for bettering your self.. but frowns on you for wanting to see what you yield from this.. that said.. kudos! welcome to leds.. =) I may have to buy one of these and a little grow tent to see what they do.. I'm curious =) none the less.. still following along.. =)

To be honest, Im still undecided if Ill add it this go around or next. I really wanted to see what I could yield from these little ones as well. I might just leave it aside and put these in to flower soon. I really couldn't turn down the price so I ordered it haha :)

trust. I understand.. =) just know I'm with you either way.. =) I've held onto my 300w's for several grows.. even after all the bad reviews of low end leds..

Id say, use the better leds.. don't undercut just for us.. (me) lol.. take a clone for that! is better to use what you got!

Thanks for the encouragement friend! Ive seen your 300s and what they produce! Part of the reason I was encouraged to get one. Also seeing the magic with the screen is amazing. Ill be planning and building one for this space. Hopefully sooner then later :) Ill see how long it takes the new light to get here and well make the decision together haha.

Freak thanks mate .new lights are always xciting times.ita been shipped from usa to hongkong.then from hongkong to the uk;) the beauty is traveling along way to be with the beast;) lol.have a great day mate;)

Tough call. I guess the real question should be how much bud do you want and how soon? If you don't need it then go ahead and run your experiment first. If you do hope to get a little self-grown stash, then I feel you'll need more light.

I keep a CFL in my flowering closet to see better color as well and take pictures. I briefly turn the LEDs off so the pics don't get purple washed.

Hello Fuzz! That question comes down to how much money I want to save and how soon haha. I smoke for a few reasons but the main one is extreme acute anxiety. Having bud around for me is a must. Part of it is just the reassurance its there in the event Id like to relax a little. I started this little set up to hopefully save me money in the long run. Im not looking for a huge ammount but if I can get it dialed in so I can pull a couple oz. Every 3-4 months it would be awesome. Autos are definitely on the list to try once I have this working like a charm. All that being said. I do still want to see how these do lol. Time will tell everything I suppose :) Thanks for coming by friend!!

Also I did a little LST yesterday on one of the friends and boy does she like it! Another one got done today and well see how she reacts :) Everything else looks great! Happy camper here.

If this works well, I may have to get a bigger fish tank. It's only a 10 gallon with a betta fish and 4 corydoras. It can support seedlings, but probably not a bunch of larger plants. Of course, it would be easier to convince my husband to get a larger tank if I hadn't just bought another LED light. Though, you know, my birthday is coming up... :laughtwo:

Hello hello! My tank is 40 gallons with 10 or so fish. Whatever I take out I'll replace right after and let it go till next time! Haha there's always an excuse for a bigger tank! We'll see how the one girl likes it :). They might all be getting a little fishy from here on out if things go well.

Thank you! The one I gave fish water to has responded to it already! Ive been feeding them 1/2 strength nutes per GH schedule, but giving the fish water this time instead has made her look even better then before! The undergrowth is awesome. Ill get some pictures tomorrow when the lights are on :)
