She just keeps stacking up the trichs and getting fatter, she's so lazy!!! She won't even stretch anymore... She's coming down on Oct. 2nd, only 2.5 weeks to go!!!!

Can't wait to try the her nugs. This is my third run with this strain (Sour OG / 818 Headband) and definitely my most successful. I've also got 3 other plants in flower right now. J8 is 3 weeks in and looking like Billy Idol in his Heyday, then there is Jasmine and Noel they are 8 days apart and just doing yoga at this point. I'll post some pics of those 3 next time, but honestly, they can't hold a candle to Mercedes at this point.

My camera is a 1Ds Mark ii, I've got a nice collection of Lenses, but I think we have at least one lens in common that we both use.

Ooooh damn!, I wish lol, couldnt justify buying a nice body for being just a hobbyist. Keeping my eye open for a good steal on a used body, not particular on any kind, just something a bit better than this entry level. I want a 28-135mm for some of the aviation action I get to see but dont NEED it lol. Cool gear though, I am always interested in what folks use.

I used a 28-135 for years, it's a great lens. I'll tell you something about camera's the bodies don't matter too much, although it does really depend what you like to take pictures of. If you're going to shoot action then get a faster lens, one with a lower aperture than the standard 4 or 4.5 or 5.6. Of course for arial pics you'll prolly want some zoom too. I'm not sure what your budget is but you can shopped used camera's and lenses from Canon USA. I've been a Canon guy for a long time. If you already have a DSLR with lenses then stay with that company. I'm sure you know that Canon and Nikon are the leaders in DSLR Cameras. I like the CMOS technology that Canon offers it's very well put together.

They have a couple Canon EOS 7D Bodies Refurbished for between $600 - $750. Let me know if you have any questions about cameras, I know a thing or two...

Yeah I have a photographer buddy I work with who has helped me a lot over the years. I put my money into lenses and wasnt worried about bodies. I am content considering what I shoot. The 7D is actually what I was going to pick up for the frames per second, and the sensor, I dont need full frame. My 70-200 is an F4 sadly but usually shoot the aircraft in full sun so it gets me what I need. Thanks for the offer, I know where I can pick a brain regarding cannabis shooting lol

Update: The dude from the hydro shop came through, he gave me a 3' Tree!! CANDY CANE, shes mostly a Sativa Strain. I grabbed 6 clones off her after i got home.

I trimmed up Mercedes and gave her a kiss from the peanut gallery. My friend said the pre-harvest defol is good to do. She'll get flushed in a couple days snd then just water until October 2, day 63.

Sounds like a good plan to me and it will be nice to have another nice strain to smoke on Christmas lol. Do you plan to keep the 3ft tree for a mother.✌️

I think i'll do her like Jane. Clone clone clone, then flower. Shes too tall for my tent although i may put her outside. Problem is shes a 3 foot Sativa and could finish at 9 feet. Not good where i live, just too many prying eyes.

Love your playroom, wish I had a large space like that, I always dream of finding a place out of town with a 60' x 40' insulated shop so I can spend hours there playing with my toys...with space like that I could have a super grow room!

Your gals are looking super, interested in what that candy cane is like, mom looks a bit leggy but what you can do with her clones is what counts! :passitleft:

Its a 3 car garage 20 x 30. My wife made me leave Portland, OR. I told her the garage is mine, she agreed, and so it is now my green room. Im gonna see what i can do for keeping the node spacing tight. Just gotta find the sweet spot, maybe i'll go straight to half gallon containers and push two weeks outta clone... options are nice!
