I read and found a lot of information on the drying / curing of hash. I found a thread on another grow site, it was a bit older, but the thread title was best way to smoke hash. The short answer is do your own thing if you're making it yourself and find your own way. The longer version was scanning and gleening what I could. The majority of people said that sticky and malleable was their favorite. As to the scent, well it smells like the buds, it's just a concentrated version without all the extra plant material, it's just oil and resin and trichs. Keep in mind that I made bubble hash and there are different methods of collection and that may influence many factors not just scent.

I also did a search on the best way to smoke it. So many methods that are, for the most part, variations on your method. We just used a bong and some herbs and I can tell you, I felt more than just the snapper bowls. When you've been smoking the same strain for 6 months you know what to expect, and I was waaaayyyyy too high for it to have just been the bud I smoked.

It definitely doesn't smell like cinnamon either.

I like the sticky malleable cause I can manipulate it, plus it's at that stage in about 24 hours. I read about one dude who rolled the hash out like a pencil lead, then put it into the center of a joint and smoked it that way. I may try that but I think that's a party favor, spark it and P P P!

BTW, Joe if you have an herbal vape you'll love the lowest temp setting with this bud, so fresh and clean tasting! The flavor will just make you smile, I promise!

If you get into vaping it will ruin other methods of smoking for you. After using the vape the bongs, pipes, and joints just taste dirty. In my opinion you will smell / taste the full extent of the buds depending on what phase you're at and how you're enjoying your buds. I will say though, when making edibles the brownies still taste like weed.

Your so right about vaping bro. Ive got a firefly 2 and a mighty. I remember the first time I used the firefly, it was a really pine terpy weed. The taste blew me away. Like fresh flower all in your mouth and lungs. And no smelly clothes

I play frisbee at least 5 days a week. Wake and bake sessions on those mornings at 6am, then I come home, shower (HAF), sweats, coffee, walk the kids to school, then settle up to my desk and do some work. I like get high and I like to jump high too. I'm high right now!

You know it's always a little disappointing when you try something and it doesn't quite work out the way you want. The way my tent sits right now I could empty it out and take everything in veg and put it into my flower tent. I've got a lot of Candy Land in veg right now and just took a few more clones. I saw you guys talking bout the bubble cloner at Toasts. Mine hasn't been working out. I went back to my old method. Also got a cutting from the BB in Flower and the Haze X too. I'm really hoping the Haze X take root, she is a dope specimen.

I agree too Joe. I'd rather have an ounce of super stoney buds than 3 ounces of airy dirt weed.
 
Not sure if I mentioned but when I was at Dave's the other day he gave me seeds he said were from my buds. Not sue how that's possible but he gave me 5 seeds. When I collect and cure from my current pollenated 818 x with Haze X, I'll be planting and marking all of them. I'm hoping for a male from the seeds I know for sure then the fun will really begin. I'm still making room, in the flower tent, it's gonna be a little while before I can do more crosses.

BTW, I still have that one lady outside and she's doing well, saw her first hairs the other day! Another week or two and I'll see if I can get her pollenated. It will be from the same male that pollenated the 818 from above.

I ate a rice crispy treat at 4:30 this noon. It took about 1.5 hours to hit me, weird. Any how here's a few of the better pics from today's time in the green room.

I'm hoping to have some time to try out the different hash samples this weekend. I'm gonna hit the 73 first the next time, time to find of what kind of chef I am...

Alright, i smoked some of the 160 micron hash about 30 minutes ago. A nice initial high, just super heady, im a bit more conscious now, but still pretty high! This process is so easy. I think moving forward I'll go an oz at a time for the hash, nice yield and plenty stoney too. Im gonna try and do another run this week.

That last girl is very beautifully colorful! very nice.

Glad to hear the hash works well also.

I prefer hash as far as concentrates go.
