Look at 30x microscopes. They work better then the $10 ones from radio shack. I know 30x don't sound like much but with the extra length of these longer microscopes they work so much better.

30x jewelers loop. or go on ebay and look up 60x microscope and i think you can get it for like 20 or less

hry 2hiegh, yeah ordered it. works pretty good. well great on the stand, but just stanging over the plant its kind of hard to use. but if you take a sample and look at it under 100x its pretty cool !! you can see right into the trichs.

Pictures from yesterday. Just switched to 1-2-3 with the gh flora series, with 5ml calmag, 1ml floraliscious plus, and 2.5ml of the kool bloom. I'm only using 1/2 the recommended dosage because I keep hearing that using the recommended dosage will stress the plants, and they'll hermie on you. anybody's opinion will be greatly appreciated on the kool bloom, i know some of you mad scientist use it!! lol. It's because of my mentors, and friends (the Deep Water Culture) all of this was possible, and my grandfather, and I both thank u. enjoy the pics!
oh yea, they're wrapping up week 3 of flower, so Monday will be the start of Week 4!

It is what I use. I also use a large magnifying glass to look at pre-flowers, and whatever, on the plants and I use the Radio Shack microscope for looking at trichs. With the radio shack microscope, you have to cut a sample of the leaf tip off and look at it sitting down at the table. The 10X is too strong to look at something still on the plant with you just standig there. You have to sit down to focus on a sample.

Okay the cool tube isn't in yet but here's a look with the 400wtt hps in the cabinet with starting from the left to the right la women dna, trainwreck, and a htin lowryder/roadrunner on the right.
There is a whole new tent for them to be setup that is waiting, but I don't have the room yet dam! so the DIY cabinet has to hang a little longer.
I am not sure if I should lower the light down closer in fear of cooking the plants and boiling the water lol!

Roseman your tutorial is looking great, but I see you are have the same old! same old! postings happening again to bad, just don't get it do they, next veryone will be complaining the thread is to long to read having to go through all the other post's that have no meaning to the thread, sorry to see it happening all over again.
