The Deep Water Culture Home

It is not here on 420, they fear posting a DIY using flamables. I could email it to you.

Fill the blender half way up with leaves, add the 91 proof liquid I can not mention, blend 3 minutes, pour through a fine mesh strainer, and repeat...... is it in a nutshell.

Okay, thats easy enuff. I remembered most of it. It is still posted "over there on that OTHER site?". I Do I need to freeze the leaves first? Looked safe to me. You ever had any problems doing it that way? .. t

just ordered some more nutes from GH, micro, gro, and bloom, and I got some liquid kool bloom coming to. I know this is my first grow and all, but I want to really nail this thing, anyone have any experience with the liquid kool bloom?

You DO dry them first, but you are not going after getting trichs off,, so you don't need to freeze them, you are going for the OIL, the CBD, not the THC, well, sorta, you're going to get more canabanol, than THC for sure, its the oil that kicks your body.
But you DRY them, don't freeze them.

MC and a dozen other B'Heads tried it. Some did not use a fine mesh strainer, and they got leaf in it. Some did not let it eveaporate all the LIQUID out and tried to smoke it too soon. Those that did it right, said it kicks butt! You want it a little thicker than motor oil, but not like TAR.

It can take a week to eveaporate the watery part out and leave the remaining oil.

Hey HGH after you make it, put the dish on top of the fridge to evaporate. It only took two days for mine to fully evaporate to tar! That warm dry air coming from the back of the fridge really does the trick.

That's a good trick TheAnswer. I stuck my mix on top of the router for a gentle heat from below and it takes about 4-5 days minimum. It sure is a B to scrap off the sides of a metal bowel but always use a metal bowel to store the mixture. The mix is high in downer cannaboids and great to add to a bowel come beddy bye time.

Grow Navy, Whenever you make the switch from grow to bloom keep it at the same level/ppm. They will be eating at that level and you are just changing the diet. If and when you use the Kool Bllom start it out at 1/2 or below maximum strength and then wait a couple of days and see if they like it or it causes any problems. I know you want to try it being new and all just like I wanted to drive 70 miles an hour when I had a learner's permit but it's not advisable. We can get you through it if there is a problem but just be carefull.

I sat and stared at the monitor for two hours once and I think without blinking! All I remember is looking at something red! It fascinated me! LOL! I called that batch FreezeFrame! I had no idea what strain it was. It was from some leaf of my second grow of bagseed. Shit that was 5 grows ago!

Nice! Yeah since my last harvest was from mystery dank seed(heavy Indica), I decided to call it Superglue. Cause after you smoke it, your ass is glued to the chair!!

Well, I have started the thread on "How to Become a Deep Water Culture". Take a look and see what you think. If I missed anyone on the list let me know and you are an edit button away from being added. It could use more graphics and color but that's just not my thing. I'm thinking a thread list of all the Deep Water Culture grows needs to be posted somewhere along the way and that might lead those in need to the help required. Feel feel to post in that thread. There are no limitations. Let it be our easel.

Hi - I am a newbie, so pls forgive me if I have posted in wrong forum, but I don't know where else to ask this. Planted my first clones two weeks ago from flowering plants (won't go into why). The clones now have brown pistils and thc on them. Is this normal? I have great roots, but having coated clones does not seem right to me. Again, forgive my ignorance in posting here, but I don't really know how to post a new question in the correct forum (and I'm not even high :) - just a damsel in distress.

Hey, no problem there, ask away, I'm not the person with knowledge in the area of your question, but before long someone will drop in that can help you out.

Stick around, we have a good time here!

Pammy,

No problems with questions on general pot here. When you clone a plant it is the age of the plant you clone from and hence the trouble with cloning during flowering. If you are using 24/0 light it will go back to the vegatative state eventually but it can take weeks and that's after it get some roots. I've even heard of "re-vegging" an entire plant because you decide late that you want that as a mother. What I'm saying is that you have no worries and eventually it will return to full veg and start growing new shoots and be all it can be. Kind of nice to have additional female presense around our site.

Are you growing hydro or other?

Welcome to the Home of the Deep Water Culture, you are very welcomed here.

I am not knowledgable about "clones" I use seeds, but there are a dozen Deep Water Culture that do know that will be here later in the day or tonight to assist you.

I bet JonnyBtreed or Mostly Crazy knows.

Welcome to 420, please check back later.

The clones from the flowering plant are trying to flower. When they were on the Mama, they were getting ready for the end of their days, and were starting to flower. Taking clones at this stage, and sticking them under 18/6 light will get them to revert to veg, but it may take a week or more for the plant to figure out what is going on, and adjust. Plants move very slowly and gradual, so be patient. You may start to get some curled up leaves. Some flowers popping out of new leaf growth. This is all natural when a flowering plant is reverting back to the veg cycle. You can see some real "odd" growth. Be patient, and keep treating it as a vegging plant. Before you know it, you will have nice clean lush veg growth. Then when they are big and strong, you can switch over to the 12/12 lighting and flowering schedule.

What strain?

How are the ladies growing? hydro? Soil? under what light?

Just curious. Best of luck with the grow my friend. :peace:

Beat me to it!

Basically said the same thing, but I use 18/6 light vs. 24/0. Wont go into why, it will be a never ending debate (but 18/6 is superior! ;) hahaha )

MC's the man! :cheertwo:
