Topping up your microbes

you need good leaf mold , a bucket of rain water , a net , a boiled potato , and a blender

blend the potato smooth , add to net , shake about and dip in and out to filter the potato out , add the leaf mold and swirl around dip in and out to release the microbes , cover not tight , add to your grow room so the microbes you cultivate suit that environment, if its running cold a fish tank heater set at 22 is good enough . . once the bucket has a solid disc of microbes gasses its time to utilize the solution
this give you a nice clean Microbe solution ,

now say " wow so easy " lol

Wow nutty, you really are keeping up on things around here. The plants are still looking beautiful, and you even got a couple 420 nugs. Good stuff.

Such a wealth if knowledge flowing here as well, your brain just keeps dumping it out. This will be a Journal to remember for all of my outdoor growing

Comfrey and seaweed smoothie for microbes , you need a good high ish power blender , use the kelp its better , the roots are too tough i almost burnt my one out hahahaaa :thedoubletake:,
i used a bout a third of the bucket of seaweed and the comfrey you see , the rest of seaweed is for the compost pile i am working on
any ways i blended both then added today's collection of leaf and molds , then took microbes from all my barrels and my new batch that is brewing, then i added this tub to my grow room , this should be ready fast enough as its well broken down by the blender, you could sieve and use quick but i want to use after its broke right down , i sieved a little to let you see pic (5)

Youre my new role model ......
Thanks !

A lot of this stuff is pretty new to myself also , though it has to be the best fun ive had and im only into this thread one month , so i hope i can get through this one its my biggest challenge , and its good to have a journal so you can look back and correct your mistakes if you make any :thumb:

Getting busy in here , keeping busy my self while the weather is being nice ,
i think ill feed water only this round , im just about into flower mode on two so a little water then ill feed the next , I do not want to over do anything as this was hard work starting that seed in that big pot , was the watering that is iffy , hope i have got the top and bottom roots matched up and this will be the last top and bottom watering , it will mostly be top from now on in , small and often no big dry swings

spotted this today thought its worth a share , i agree i must say:ganjamon:
any ways every one finds their own way to do things right that suits them and their water , their feeds , their soil and what ever they do they find the sweet spot , i am getting pretty close i can fell it in my bones , this time next year eyyy @Squiggle lovely jubely san

One reason that living soil growers have such great success is that we don’t do this silly thing of “drying out” our soil. We approach growing by growing our microbe herd and letting the microbes worry about feeding and growing the plants. In order to do this, we don’t take our soil through huge swings from wet to dry. Instead, we try to keep our soil at a constant moisture level where it has enough water but is also able to breathe. Yep, soil actually breathes in and out in a natural system. The whole “dry out” thing is very misunderstood and taken way too far by a lot of growers. IMO, it came about as a practice to combat the typical over watering that many growers do and to deal with some pest issues (that could be solved with other methods) – not because it’s actually ‘best practice’ for growing cannabis and most other plants.

I find that letting roughly half the water weight evap keeps em pretty happy soo far my self my large one was @ over .5" of vertical growth day haven't measured that with the others but they seem to be @ the same rate that plant was @ 2 weeks ago and i haven't fed them anything for a cpl weeks besides bone meal i had on hand and this cal i amended my dirt with .
